    Went back up to work with Mac this week, Matt should have been there but he was on a hen do with his girlfriends haha. There was a little matter of “who will reach 100 rabbits for the year first” and “who will get the biggest bag on the night”….bit of friendly rivalry with the old master. Mac had been out 2-3 times and moved his tally from 84 to 100 before I could get out, so he claimed the 100 club hat first. So Sat night was about catch up for me.     Mate, range finders are great, but not a must (For the newbies on here). There are plenty of ways to learn to range find, I always picture the zero range and work from there. It is a skill no doubt, but over the last 12 months I've gone from being 10-15 yrds out on estimations, to being 2-5 yrds out now (working out to 50 yrds). Just so the newbies don't go splurging cash on range finders....unelss you have it spare, don't worry, just practice walking down the street...estimate the distance to object and pace it out...you'll soon enough learn how to gauge distances....then try it in the da

    I picked up a HW97 for £230, I already had a £60 scope to add on to it, add a bag for £30 and you are done. No need to go for anything other than HW/AA if you have £400 - you might even get a PCP for that dosh if your are lucky!

    Thanks Gents! I have seen 3 separate lots of new kits this year on one site. Sadly 4 of the females won't be participating in the next round Mac, what can I say, the bollockings obviously worked mate I'm looking at a week Saturday for another bash at the other site if you are up for it? I'll shout Matt too unless he is reading this???
