Remy, I've been lucky. Last July I started shooting with Mac and Vislauk. In the 6 months up to Xmas I shot 9-10 rabbits. I then landed a perm at one of my work sites. Shot 11 in 2 hours. I've taken 50+ off there in 6 months. Now I landed the other work site and again, jammy that 1) it has lots of well tended grassy areas. 2) Lots of trees and bushes for the burrows 3) 12 foot high razor security wire and 24 hour patrols. Pretty much virgin rabbit land. Don't get me wrong, I also have a golf course where I haven't seen a rabbit in 6 months. Swings and round-abouts bud!

Can you repeat the bit when you said all the stuff about the things?

I see we now measure our rabbit tally in "buckets" excellent hahaha. Last night I shot 4 buckets full of rabbits! Grand stuff Moxy.

Matt, get your thinking head on ready for the safety test, you need to get 19/21 to pass, and need to pass to get on site. Bring air and pellets and a game bag! Mac, I spoke with the HSE manager and twisted his arm to allow the 3 of us on site. Did you hand back the security pass on Sat? I did but forgot to sign off the work permit.. !d'oh. Oh, BOTH OF YOU, make sure you bring your insurance cards with you, the HSE fella wanted to take copies of them "just in case"...must have seen you shooting Sat, Mac! haha. I'm thinking about a really early start Sat morning and run through to

Haha I can imagine gutting 26 rabbits in my front door step at 2am hahaha

I was out this morning myself but didn’t take a single shot; instead I was enthralled watching a cow give birth in the field. Over a two hour period I witnessed the birth through to the calf suckling and it was wonderful. Just being out in the countryside and watching natural events is every bit as rewarding as culling vermin to me. Regards, Steve Veal, Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

just never had an audience watch us do it! haha, the 2 security guards were facinated, Mac and I, elbow deep in rabbit guts, pulling out organs and guts and them just stood watching haha.

how about tall, fat, blad and smelling of rabbit guts?

Write up time! What a night last night. 6 months after Mac gave me a tip about this site (one of the sites belonging to the company I work for) I finally got the OK to go on it. I had been down Tuesday to walk the site and sign the papers so I knew it was bouncing with rabbits. I can only shoot it at the weekend when the site is closed, so naturally, first person I had to take down was Mac as a thanks for the tip and the fact it’s been about a year since he took me under his wing. We got to site around 3:15 and after scoping up set off anti clockwise round the site. We quickly came to

Love it when the lads take the kids out. I can't wait to take my boy out, but he's 7 and his Mum is not too keen.......to put it mildly! Well done Little un.

Dave, I'm not sure how many Sunderland guys are on here....thing is, being half Georide, I know most of the Mackems can't read or write...... JOKE - I married a Mackem before you get agro! Small tip, offer to take someone else out FIRST in return for a trip on their perm afterwards.....it often works better. Too many people on here have worked years to get 1-2 perms and it's a sore subject to come on and say "can I come shoot your land?". Hope you find something, I know I hated having to drive 45 mins to my perm, I'm lucky to have a couple closer now so I do understand what you ar
