    I max I spent a few nights in Bangkok once again the real Asia ....spent a month right on in the jungle in the Phillipines this time last year traveling through all the paddy fields ..once again a stunning place and great people . Its hard to say on here what I do basically im a fixer any problems they have we get sent out to fix it ...Im a bit fed up of Singapore now seeker to commerialised . Another country that surprised me was Germany done a few tours of there 6 years ago in a place called Vecta ...lads were great craic ....the worst people apart from arabs are the Norwegians especialy

    Aye Max I have to say Nam is my favourite country in the world Ho Chi Minh City is mindblowing ...that's the real Asia ....spent a bit of time in a place to the south called Vung Tau last year ...it was just like you see in the Vietnam war movies beautifull scenery..we travelled about mostly by chopper flying past all the islands covered in trees and the secluded beaches ...great people as well and cheap as chips ...Congo and Gabon are stunning when you get away from the city ...imo the biggest shit hole is Angola... Italy is not far behind it spent a lot of time there 3 years ago traveling

    There is no harm at all taking them out even at 5 -6 months old only as an observer taking in all the sights smells and sounds same with any dogs whether it gun dogs terriers etc

    On another note... how much training does lads do with there lurchers? ....retrieve, jump on command ,recall,steady to livestock and a very important one if the dog misses it comes back straight away ready for the slip to be put back on ...there is nothing worse than dogs hunting on and clearing a place ... there a few aother little commands and quiet whisles that's just what the dog picks up on when out in the field but that's about it for me

    A dog either has it or it doesn't from the minute it is born ...but entering does have a part imo there is no rules what so ever when bringing on a pup as long as it comes home thinking it is winning then when you think its ready and that is different for the individual dog you throw as much at it as you can but we all know of dogs that have had too much too soon and that's down to the owner .... A lot of lads don't know what theyve got on the end of the slip as they've not given it enough ...its not just about numbers either imo its giving the dog hard slips when the advantage is on the quar

    Tigger was put over a bull x owned by a keeper lad ive done a bit with ...ive not seen much of her work but what I did see impressed me...she is racy enough .... she is out of the same stuff as the wrecking crew There were 9 pups and there are 2 bitches and a dog left if anyone is interested give me a pm and I will point you in the right direction ...I cant speak for the bitch as its not mine but the sire is decent and tested very well bred and throws good stuff all the pups up and down the country doing well . Sire dam not the best pic but she has just come off 9 pups

    Hers a pic of Fly from about 3 weeks ago she was just getting really fit but I had to come over to Asia Pacific ...too tell you the truth she could do with a bit of a well deserved rest they had a few busy months ... ...plenty of drive wind and pace had a lot of fun with this bitch the past couple of seasons .

    Sorry lads Ive no finished pics with me im in Singapore heading to O z but will try and explain what I done . The reason I knocked my old kennel block down was it was north facing now it is south facing ....the far wall that the gate is leaning on has a drainage channel that runs into a soak away ....so in the morning its a case of pic up the shit and flush the kennel runs out with water that is gotten from a 40m gallon drum that is filled from the run off the roof via guttering ... there water dishes are of the ground on brackets attatched to the run sections .     Heres a pic of mine that I built a few months ago before the roof ,sections and gates went up ...the thing with blocks its cold so all my living quarters is insulated on the floor and walls ...concrete base is on the slope with proper drainage system
