I spent 2 days up by the Murray River last year doing a 4x4 course ....Then we drove from Adelaide to Cooper Basin over 1000km on dirt tracks ....W e stopped at Innamincka for some food and it rained for a few hours closing all the surrounding roads and we were stranded there for a few days ....they had a bar so I wasnt to concerned and a few Sheilas although I would rather fuked them than arm wrestled them lol ....some great history and stories about the early settlers in that area .

Here's a pic of Tor last week he was about 30 lbs he is going to be long on the leg The weeman has him retrieving well , leed trained and his re call is good He is a sharp little pup and mad as a box of frogs it will be interesting to see the progress of this litter ..I m in Iraq so told Dylan to have him walking to heal when I get back

They were shot with 36 gr 5 steel ...as I was out for ducks and didn't have time to change to 38 gr 3 but was comfortable with the shot and not a fan of steel shot for many reasons ....I also think these 60gr magnum carts for edible quarry are overkill it's all about a clean kill but if it's out of range don't take the shot ....I have been wildfowling since I was a kid and these big carts give lads an over confident and I have seen lads taking stupid out of range shots and injuring birds

It's all about giving them the opportunities and bringing out the traits they are good at by training ....there are probably plenty of earth dogs out there that could do this but are never given the chance

There's spaniels that can deal with foxesWhere?Nah your right , I was getting muddled up with dogo Argentinos.Just a simple question as over the years I have heard of this gun dog breeds taking foxes ..have you seen it with your own eyes don't you think a springer could or has killed foxes Mik? Surprised there, it can and does happen atb AtNo I don't mate ...for a lab or a spaniel to catch a fox in the first place it would have to be a poor specimen ...I often hear this from gun dog lads and many years ago a lad said his lab had killed many foxes so I gave it the oppertunity and the big black

Yes here's another vid of him retrieving during a licenced sawbill cull ....very handy little tyke to have around that is also as good as a digging dog as I've owned .
