    I cant say I have noticed if mine is overly hard mouthed but he is not a natural retriever like most gun dogs and it took it bit of work and even now I would say he is a poor retriever

    Is it fook!! It's much bigger. Cracking pics....looks like a good day out. Might have asked this before( always do with this breed)....is it hard or soft mouthed.     i think, that whats prob goes against it, is border terriers have un docked tails, so they prob think , if this breed is a working dog ( earth dog) and not docked , why dock the other terrier breeds , if there all doing the same job .? just a thought .! Think its more to do with a jobsworth sticking their nose into something they no fcuk all about to be honest.What do you mean delswal?

    I used mine in the beating line last year on a place that had big numbers of pheasants and patridges which was more of a learning curve for him to put big numbers of birds in front of him to keep him steady and was basically training sessions just to get him around ,people ,dogs in out vehicles etc ....the lad that bred him picks up 3-4 times a week along with a team of labs and spaniels and I would go as far to say his dogs are some of the best I've seen and the 2 GWP are just that cut above the rest ....it was after seeing the dam work and pulling of some decent finds and retrieves when oth

    Had an afternoon shooting over the GWPs with a mate who bred my Rab ...he has the dam and sister and it really is a pleasure watching them as they are out 3-4 times a week .     The new enforcers are w@nk I will stick to the old tried and testedWhy is it wank ? mine had a border around the edge which made the beam too wide for me, the lamp might suit someone else but it was definitely not for me. what do u mean a border There's a vaggered edge around the beam which makes the beam spread too wide for me Change the bulb to the old style my bulb put ptf tape on the threads of the lamp so you can adjust it right out ...job done ...there is no comparison to these and the led lamps ....I'm just back from a shine and the lad I was with had an led ....I put it in the middle

    What a difference in him ....I was busy all day making dog mince then a bit of salmon fishing before dark so didn't have much time to walk the hounds today so gave them a few miles behind the truck ...let them out the back and Nip was away hunting cover ...thought I'd only give him a single lap round the field but he ran with the rest of them ..I will just keep pumping the anti biotic into him and keep an eye on him ....these litte dogs are bomb proof

    Been working the enforcer the past week or so ...very good ..hooked up to the 22 a.the Light force lamps are good I've had a 240 and 22 amp lithium battery for as long as I can remember and I am out near every night weather dependent.If you want my opinion stay away from the led lamps

    Totally agree with that first line ...it's not always black and white and that also refers to lurcher work and very much so the bond you have with your stock ...my dogs I am their whole world and they would jump through fire for me and I have gotten that bond and trust with the way I have brought them up and that is why I never take on an older dog ...I have in the past and just haven't had the bond and have felt I haven't gotten the very best out of them .I have met some good lads over the years and have also met some lads that I don't have time for ....     I hear what you are saying Timmy but if it happened 100 times again I would do the exact same thing ...there is no as I could watch the dog dyeing in front of me without trying to safe him and like I say if any of you were in that situation you would do the same the adrenalin just kicks in and you just do what you've got to do ....     I moved Fly as she was the only bitch in my yard and it was just causing problems with just having dogs ...she always came into season when I was away and I was going to end up with a dead dog . Fly was brother and sister mating Tigger x ROsie ....a very good bitch

    Morning lads ...the wee dog is looking a lot brighter this morning ...I jabbed him yesterday and he's on a course of anti biopics .... he spent most of the day curled up at the fire I took him out with the rest of the dogs in the afternoon and he had a walk about when I fed my pheasants . Looking back at yesterday it could of been an error of my judgement ...he has done many retrieves from the water in worse conditions . There were a few factors ,the tide and wind was against him ...the goose was still alive and was swimming further out he also had a belly full of food as he had been eating

    FUK me socks that water was cold when I dived in it took my breathe away ....my boabie is usually 9 inches a a wrinkle but it was 9 wrinkle and an inch when I got back to dry land ...he gives me 100% so I wasn't giving up on him ....he's looking brighter every minute but he is like a balloon his stomach full of water ....I've given him a jab and just away to take him to vets to get him checked over

    Headed out with a mate to the geese this morning with Nip and my mates lab Rowen ....we could hear plenty of ducks and geese in the darkness ....got the duck deeks set out in the water and got ourselves hidden in the reed beds ....the geese started moving and a skein came over me and dropped one that hit the water about yards out ...the wee dog headed out but it was just winged and was headed further out to sea ...he kept at it and eventually got it and turned to retrieve it but the tide was going out and the south easterly wind was against him ...I knew he was struggling so started shouting
