mines 100 yards from the wood , some cat food spread about , sit and wait , flask in one hand spotter on the other , not very often it fails

Farmer phoned
2 dead lambs , so of I went , put the carcass out a 100/150 more or less where the farmer had found them , this one showed up at 8.30 , and took a 243 95g at 100 yards waited till 10.30
and nothing Else showed , so home

I’m out now farmer rang to dead lambs , one strange enough had it head chewed off
me thinks more like a badger, any way the two carcasses our back out at 150 and 100 wind in my face and surrounded by little lambs , only problem nearly a full moon
but great to be out , I’ll report latter on a separate thread if anything shows

22 mph gusts to 40 mph winds , but no rain and 1/2 moon ,
im mad to get out BUT is it worth the effort only to come back covered mud , and maybe have got a couple of rounds off or will Charlie be holed up
any body else as daft as me

it’s a beam of invisible red light that you or any animal can not see
but there a lot more power full than a ordinary ir beam
