    There has been some tragic deeds done with air guns but Its not about incidents with air guns its about the money,simple as that. There is probably millions of air guns out there in circulation in Britain. By bringing in a compulsory licence for air gun owners the Government will generate millions of pounds in revenue as theses licences will not be free of charge. For the amount of air guns out there the amount of incidents is very small.

    Stop buying new guns then they will stop gluing them up,anything that affects sales will get quicker results than anything else. Anti tamper isn't even a legal requirement.

    Lovely looking guns let down by poor triggers and leaky rams.My mate had one and I had a .20 Evolution both suffered from leaky rams and his trigger was crap my trigger had been fettled by BT and was better but still not as good as a record unit jmo.

    Theoben Rapid EPR .20 , Lightstream Scope ,HW Silencer . Had a lot of Airguns over the years but this set up has been my favourite.

    I bet your not happy,someone didnt check it before it was sent out. As its the owners responsibility ( power ) I won't buy an air rifle with AT fitted if it means I have to send it away to be turned down.

    As above better to use a flat stone than one of those Bladetec type sharpeners. I use 2 flat DMT diamond files fine/ extra fine (being a Joiner already had them handy ) then I use a flat piece of wood with leather glued to it for stropping the blade after sharpening using Autosol which def helps getting a really good edge. I've got a few knives but my favourite is a Mora bushcraft black,which can be sharpened very quickly.

    Nearly forgot about this thread,the Air Arms Pro Elite was also a big heavy break barrel which also used the concept of having fitted a heavy shrouded barrel. Never seen one for a good few year though.

    Ive used a 20 Rapid for a few years now and had a 20 X2R before that.I use H+N ftt in mine and know of others that use the heavier JSB pellets. Cant fault mine at all

    He has a strong following,never heard any thing else but praise for the work he does.Like has already been said best to ring him
