  1. Loma as good as he is needs to move back down in weight, the size was telling tonight it looked like Campbell was two weight divisions bigger. Talk of Loma fighting above the Lightweight division is madness imo.
  2. That advert reads like the old Hancock adverts that used to be in the CMW years back .
  3. That's a good night out . ?
  4. I left my 170 in the boot one night and it was accidentally left on all night till battery ran out,it left a little bronze mark on the reflector but it did not effect the lamp at all. I suppose it could of been worse if the battery was fully charged but it had been used that night before being left on.
  5. I was using a 140 with a 100 watt bulb in for little bits and bobs ( airgun) and it has been fine so far (admittedly not used as much as I used to,no dog in this season) I've just lined my Greyhound with a mates Deerhound so fingers crossed. I also use a cut down filter that's painted black to tighten the beam up on my Lightforce lamps except the Blitz to stop as much overspill. Hopefully I will use the 140 with a thermal so the lamp will be used a lot less than in the past anyway. The 140 lamp came to me off a mate and it also had a black spot in the middle of the beam,I tried a few different
  6. Good bag as usual mate . ?
  7. Always good to hear of lads picking up new permission . ?
  8. Got to give credit to Yarde travelling over to Russia to fight Kovalev,I hope he pulls it off. Kovalev is 36 now and not seen as the monster he once was since the Ward and Alvarez losses . There is some serious talent in that Light Heavyweight division at the moment .
  9. It did in our house growing up,if my parents found out I'd been smacked/caned at school you could guarantee I would be getting another clip. I did say one of the main findings after the London riots was a lack of discipline in the home so the kids ran wild and took this into older age.
  10. No mate been busy with other stuff ,be next year now I think ?My kid managed to get the Greyhound lined to that Deerhound dog out the imported stuff for me while I was Offshore .
  11. Your probably onto something there tbh mate. I watched a documentary about the London riots and one of the main findings was there was no discipline in the home and so the kids just ran wild and took this attitude into older age with them.Same as the kids at school now with no fear/respect of authority, school was a good laugh and we all got up to capers but nobody looked forward to the cane, especially in front of the whole class .
  12. Nice afternoon for it Billy, have you been splashing out on a pick up mate ?
  13. Defo some big men competing in arm wrestling , just look like they where born to arm wrestle the way they have built themselves up and others that are naturally gifted like Jeff Dabe and his 19" forearms and Worlds biggest hands, Denis Cyplenkov is another with monster hands. https://liftn.com/bodybuilders-hands-are-so-massive-that-they-look-photoshopped/
  14. Certainly an interesting sport,a lad sent me a clip of a competition somewhere and one of the competitors looked like a Lobster,he had one huge arm and the other arm was tiny . Looked it up online for a bit and some of these competitors are huge with massive hands.

Nice to see a bonus Magpie in there as well Billy . ?
  16. Money Jobi mate that's the reason why if it's over there and also it' will be seen as neutral and both fighters must have agreed to it to get the rematch made ! A heavyweight title fight over there is almost a licence to print money. Khan got over 7 million just for fighting Billy Dib. Don't worry about testing Hearn and Haymon will make sure that there respective opponents are well drug tested and any parties notified of any tue usage id expect. Both Hearn and Haymon are shrewd businessmen and there is a lot of money to be made for the winner of this fight .
  17. I actually thought that Hopkins had beat him,but Calzaghe got the win. The white boy comment did Hopkin no favours, ironic as it was a white boy who knocked him out the ring and that's how his career ended in his last fight.Calzaghe was never even thought of as a cheat and the cocaine thing was when his career had finished and it's a recreational drug tbf not a ped as such .
  18. I can remember the fights mate, sorry not been on as much lately (wifi is crap out here and data used up quickly) I didn't know it was a WBSS I just thought it was Hopkins unifying the division. Never a fan of Hopkins though he did achieve a lot and even less of a fan in his later career, he was clearly on the juice. A lot of his later fights you only got the fight with him if there was no testing,he was so confident about it he started calling himself the Alien as he wasn't human because he was getting better in his later years, yeah right. Pavlek pulled him numerous times In front of the camer
  19. Gnash I wouldn't say I've fell into any trap I'm just like the rest of the boxing fans and want to see the best fight the best and not interested in taking sides I'd just like to see the fights to get an undisputed champion. Your right about the sport being more corrupt than ever with governing bodies and promoters, just look at some of the strokes that Hearn has pulled but it done a remarkable job in getting Joshua to global stardom. Be nice to see what comes out of this Whyte situation and this failed test with Hauser reporting it as Dianabol metabolites which where found which has been on th
  20. This problem in boxing with the top fights not being made is only at Heavyweight, most of the other divisions have had like the WBSS tournaments to see who is actually the best in there division. Fighters like Ward SMW Usyk Cruiser and Smith SMW and the current one is at Bantamweight with Inoue and Donaire in the final (iirc). A WBSS tournament at heavyweight would certainly sort it all out .
  21. Gnash there all at it, Hearn Arum Haymon. Whyte refused to fight the WBC no3 ranked Ortiz for the mandatory slot and instead fights the WBC no 10 ranked Rivas and Hearn still manages to wangle it so its for the mandatory slot ? Far too much emphasis on losing the “0” in todays boxing and boxing is worse for it. The 70s where arguably the greatest era at Heavyweight and they all fought and lost to each other and also more than once. Thats part of what made the 70s era so great, you had the top fighters all fighting each other and in most cases again more than once . As a fan if the Ruiz v Joshu
  22. Ray if Ruiz beats Joshua in the rematch I can see Wilder avoiding Fury and going after Ruiz but Im still not convinced that the Joshua v Ruiz rematch is going to happen next, thats even if Ruiz still holds the four belts for the rematch. Belts maybe stripped from Ruiz which is also other possible options for Fury and Wilder. Wilder has rangy movement, fast hands, can do 12 rounds no bother and does have tremendous power which carries right until the last second of the last round but certainly also has flawed boxing skills. Fury does everything better than Wilder but lacks the power that Wilder p
  23. Gnash we all want the big fights involving Fury Wilder Ruiz Joshua and yes the Wallin fight for Fury is a fight that boxing followers know is not up to much I have never denied that but to casuals on the other hand who are buying into this "American Fury " they will lap it up. Fury was slated for facing Shwarz who was ranked WBO no2 but Whyte fights the WBC rated no 10 in Rivas after refusing to fight the higher ranked WBC no 3 Ortiz (at the time iirc) and its for an eliminator ? but nobody says a word ? Ive said it before but todays modern " Big Promoters" have too much say in all aspects of
  24. Set in stone for years lol, where on about boxing not Laws etc ! We are going round in circles, just name one fighter who Fury should fight in September instead of Wallin ? When has Joshua called out Fury on numerous occasions ? Fury wanted to fight Joshua in his first fight back,Hearn refused the fight. Joshua has called out Fury only once and that was at short notice for the failed Wembley slot in April that got cancelled. The same show that Whyte Ortiz Wilder also all refused, Hearn played a blinder even offering Fury and Wilder 50/50 for the fight with Joshua knowing full well t
  25. Not singing Arums praises at all mate just repeating what he said when he signed Fury. I did say that Hearn had done a remarkable job with Joshua from taking him from amateur to three belts and making him the biggest money maker in the division. My only gripes with Hearn is all the BS he comes out with on social media quite a lot of it not even true and the way he carrys on towards fighters who are not in his Matchroom stable. At the end of the day both Arum and Hearn are two top promoters and will always make the fights that suit themselves firstly before making the fights that the fans want
