  1. Full litter I had where fighting all day/night from 5 week old,had them in run during day and insulated shed at night to keep noise down. All the years I've kept Lurchers I've never had a litter as switched on as these, absolutely into everything. I've been expecting neighbours knocking on door for weeks . Lol
  2. I can remember the bear going missing, think it was up the Hebrides iirc ? ?
  3. Bill the litter I bred are 10 weeks on Monday,I will try and get some pics. Dropped dog pup off tonight with lad off here (Gaz) so just the two bitch pups here now. ?
  4. Wonder if it's mind games from him ? Ruiz weighed in with clothes/shoes on and sombrero iirc . We will find out tomorrow night . ?
  5. Joshua has weighed in nearly 11lb lighter than the first fight and Ruiz has came in 15lb heavier (clothes/shoes on) than the first fight. Ruiz looking to force the fight and Joshua obviously going for mobility, speed and better stamina. As for Tyson he was never the same fighter after Kevin Rooney walked after the Spinks win in his 34th fight. The Tyson we saw in his last fights had no love at all for the game and was only fighting to pay the IRS off and other debtors he had. I can't remember if it was the Francis or Savarese fight in the U.K In 2000 where Warren sued Tyson for money owed and h
  6. Will that gps unit not be registered to the vehicle its missing off ? Watched a program a few year ago about the cheap labour immigrant gangs working on farms and disabling the gps units from tractors etc then Polish wagon drivers delivering over here where picking them up and taking them back on the continent with them to be sold.
  7. Joshua will try and keep it long and keep off Ruiz, if he lets Ruiz in he gets stopped again. Ruiz is all wrong for Joshua and its Joshua who has had to make the most adjustments to his game for this rematch. Id like to see Joshua win it but its hard to over look Ruiz repeating the win again. As long as its a clear winner at the end of the fight and no controversies. jmo
  8. Good size for a bitch pup at that age, and a smart looking thing. ?
  9. Being totally honest here,Ive seen a few run but ive never seen any of the ones I seen ran on rabbits . The ones I seen where ran on what they where bred for, there are other lads on here who have also seen these same dogs doing there job.
  10. Ive seen Deerhoundx work out on the hill from early 90s on hard land 1/2x 7/8x 5/8 reverse x and a few pure and all these did there job they where meant to. The above crosses could all do there job and the best pure I seen was an AW bred bitch up Caithness, Ive mentioned the bitch before but she ended up getting shot off a toff. There was an AB bred dog ran with these other dogs but it was not of the standard of the others but that is the only AB bred dog Ive seen so cant judge them all off just one dog Ive seen tbh.I owned a decent 3/4 Deerhoundx mid 80s and back then a lot of the good fox/de
  11. The pup is spoken for now mate. Im meeting Gaz Lurcherlad next week when I get back from offshore .
  12. No nothing yet, no rush tbh as long as I find him a good working home.
  13. Fury seems to raise his game the better the opponent is and tbh Wilder for all his faults has looked devastating since the first Fury fight so Fury needs to be fully focussed this time if he is going to win. Wilder cant rely on one big bomb every fight or can he ? Its the classic match up between the puncher and the boxer and the interest is to see who prevails !
  14. Wilder cant outbox Fury but he knows Fury can only pepper him with shots. Only thing Wilder has better than Fury is power. What makes the rematch so interesting is to see who has made the right adjustments and also will Fury be any fitter/sharper/better now he has had a few more fights since his comeback ?What it comes down to again is can the puncher beat the boxer or does the boxer beat the puncher. Hoping for a good fight and the best man to win and no controversy.
  15. I disagree there Shaaark mate, I didnt think that shot what finished Ortiz was as hard as either of the two shots Wilder hit Fury with in that 12th round with the second punch being an absolute free shot and also Furys head bouncing off the canvas to add to the knockdown.Ortiz had the beating of Wilder imo but as the fight went on Ortiz got more and more confident and more complacent and his left hand was getting lower and lower and he left himself wide open for the shot that finished him. Dont forget Ortiz is an old fighter and probably is a lot older than his stated age.Hopefully we wont ha
  16. This ^^ plus old age and Ortiz getting complacent. I still think Fury beats Wilder in the rematch and I think that the Ruiz that beat Joshua would also beat him . jmo
  17. Right lads, I have a male pup here unspoken for. Genuine first x Deerhound/Greyhound 8 weeks old tomorrow, rough coated, nice tidy stamp. I dont want anything for it apart from a good working home. If interested pm me, it might take a while to reply as Im back offshore now. hth
  18. Bill there has been Deerhounds from working stock imported from France Holland and Germany that I know of so the gene pool is certainly healthy. The decline of Deerhound/Greyhounds since just the 80s is remarkable never mind even from back in the early 19th century. I can remember a lot of the good fox/deer dogs back in 80s where of Deerhound/Greyhound breeding, also seen plenty out running on the hill Caithness early-late 90s doing there job. Here is the article from Hancock about Platts stuff and trying to get them accepted by kc and wanting to breed them back into the existing pure Deerhoun
  19. Bill I read something of Hancock wanting Platt stuff bred into them or Platt stuff recognised as a pure breed. At the end of the day there is no such thing today as a Pure Deerhound imo and when KC is involved a breed usually moves away from its working heritage. Todays representation of the breed is nothing like the original Deerhound in type/size/colour/temperament/coat. What there is today is the result of the original Deerhound being crossed to Pyreneane,Collies,Greyhounds/Borzoi and even Bloodhound being bred into them to change them from sighthounds to tracking dogs to move with the times
  20. 1 dog pup left mate. Waiting on a lad back home getting in touch and a couple of others interested but nothing concrete as of yet, it does not help Im back offshore now for lads contacting me . hth
  21. Bitch pups are gone, 1 male pup left. Waiting for a lad back home to get back to me about it (Im offshore now so not easy for them to contact me) also a couple of other lads interested in him .
  22. There is still Deerhound stuff about worked but a lot more that is unworked and just peddled, its like anything when looking for a pup the hard part is finding one from parents that have genuinely seen graft.
  23. Smith v Ryder on paper is a mis match imo, Ryder has been on good form but so has Smith. Like Gnash says everything in Smiths favour for this fight, I cant see anything other than a Smith win and more than likely by stoppage, but then again upsets can happen .
  24. Saville was up to his neck supplying kids and stuff like that to them all, it was no secret that Saville was a serious nonce for decades before he died, it was these very same people in power who looked after him and seen to it that he was never ever charged, just like the BBC dossier with all the nonces names in it going round in the hands of various MPs for decades and not one of them doing a thing about it,infact they hid it away and still have it.Saville was getting kids from Haut la Garene for MP paedo partys on Ted Heaths boat, Saville denied hed ever been there but a photo proved other
