  1. Rivas has fought and beat nobody as a pro and it showed tonight, Whyte holding him at bay with a basic double jab. Excellent finish from Chisora, him against Parker be a good match up .
  2. Tbf Whyte only has himself to blame for his predicament with the options he has refused/wasted that other fighters would have jumped at. Ortiz WBC mandatory Pulev IBF mandatory Joshua WBA,WBO,IBF,IBO belts, all them are top opportunitys as well as declining fights with Joyce and Usyk but he only seems to have eyes for Wilder. Hearns match making and calculated ducking have got Whyte where he is today and now with Joshua beaten by Ruiz Hearn seems to be showing Whyte a lot more time. Iirc Whytes only win over a ranked fighter inside top 20 was Parker (10) coming off a loss and that should hav
  3. I also wonder how the ticket sales are going ?
  4. I would like to see Joyce V Dubois,Warren seemed really keen to put the fight together. It would be an interesting match up with Joyce's come forward style but he is still so easy to hit,I think Dubois can beat him right now and its not a fight too far for this moment in Dubois career, not sure if Joyce fancys it though tbh .
  5. Frank Grant thats a name from the past Gnash, he stopped Herol Graham. I think he fought for the Champs Gym in Moss Side iirc.
  6. I agree, Joyce is a big strong lad but how easy is it to hit him ? Dubois listened to the advice from his corner but Gorman did not and Dubois was able to get to him from the first bell so I could only see one winner tbh .
  7. Looking forward to tonights boxing, the Dubois v Gorman fight will be an interesting one .
  8. It could well be a fight like Wilder v Fury lol.A similar match up in a lot of ways, basically the puncher against the boxer. Dubois has the power but is raw and very easy to hit,Gorman on the other hand is the more fluent boxer and does seem to have a bit more ring savvy. Both have never really been tested so far so its a 50/50 to see how the fight goes on the night imo. If Gorman can frustrate Dubois like what Kevin Johnson did then he can win it but he needs to be on his game and show Dubois respect otherwise the win will go to Dubois .
  9. Vinny is like marmite but like mentioned hes a family man and hes done very well for himself and his family, hes also big into his shooting.Il I remember when he was on Gladiators years ago and he got battered in every event lol.
  10. Fury needs to get another fight in before the rematch,it will definitely be a different fight this time around with Fury fully fit and match ready and his body now used to the big weight loss. Wilders team even admitted they only gambled on the Fury fight as they knew he was not 100%. Fair play to both Wilder and Fury going at it again. Hopefully the winner of this fight gets the Ruiz v Joshua winner for an undisputed champion .
  11. Ok mate , I thought you would reply with something like that ?
  12. Are you not a member over on the Rapid7owners site ? Thats all im saying ! ?
  13. Good numbers as usual lads ?
  14. Ben Taylor also worked for FX for a time and no doubt worked on and had input on other FX models in there range .
  15. What other airgun has the ability in its design to have every working part upgraded like the Rapid platform when upgrades do become available ? What other airgun has a thriving community behind it designing and making these upgrades ? What other pcp airgun 25+ years old still has the following, reliability and holds its price like a Rapid ?
  16. No doubting the Rapid design is old but it is a very easy gun to work on and its design is such that each and every part can and is being upgraded/modified to keep it up to date with todays latest guns .Silent hammer pips/quickfills/inertia savers/trigger upgrades/improved valving/modified reg cores/shrouds etc where all brought to the Rapid platform by enthusiasts. A lot of these things that Theoben themselves said could not be done .
  17. Rapids and all there variants are still in demand today all these years later with a hive of tuners all making upgraded parts for them and they can still hold there own against todays top end pcp guns hence why they hold there price so well, lets see how many of todays top end pcp guns are still going strong in 20+ years .
  18. As mentioned above when I bought mine Godive was cheapest at the time also you want at least a 7 litre or even better a 12 litre, less travels to get it filled. hth https://www.godive.net/go-shoot/charging-cylinders-and-accessories/
  19. That is true mate, it's a point you can't argue about,Newcastle where a very good team back then and like you say Man Uniteds biggest threat for a couple of seasons.
  20. It seems funny all the take over rumours start when the new season tickets are due .The Geordies would love a take over that brought back the days from the early 90s. I remember working in Manchester back then and a few of us went in a cafe and they said they would not serve Geordies lol, once we said we where from Sunderland area they where fine lol .
  21. I wonder who it is who the Sheik is bringing in ?
  22. Promoters sign fighters up as investments to make money for themselves and also to make money for the fighter and also nowadays for the Networks showing them if the fighter is top level/ppv worthy.Don King took it to the extreme robbing fighters terribly over the decades. King owed Ali $1.2 million and prolonged it through the courts for years until Ali accepted $50,00 out of court.Tyson sued King for $100 million what he had robbed from him,Tyson went bankrupt and had to settle out of court for $14 million. One of Kings tricks was to have fighters train at his gyms/camps and then bill them $7
  23. Was it somebody that you knew and had been to the lads yard and seen these pups ? Good to hear you got them back .
  24. I'm sure that Lobov fights former boxing champion Malignaggi bare knuckle tonight .
  25. At end of the day Fury went in and did what he had to. He looked good and got the win and a bonus early stoppage, now onto the next fight. I know there are better fighters in the division than Schwarz but nice to see Fury sitting down on his punches and he does seem more effective when he fights as a southpaw.
