The more the dog goes out with you, the more it will get switched onto whats happening and lead onto marking etc. My collie marks, as do most dogs when out and about ferreting/,watching. Atb

Pain/fear is no way to train a dog imo. I would imagine there are men/women with much better options. Basic training and a very good bond with any dog would be a start. Atb

funny that because my we beddy cross is the same fetches to hand alive and gentle marks perfect and was very easy trained and great about burrows just like the rest of my terriers crosses image-32.jpg Nice one NL :-)Atb
