  1. Just googled them, seem to be quite popular, and decent layers. Don't see why not, but I'm sure some of the layers folk will know best. Over to you, layers people :-) Atb

The people are the Church, not the building. The building is the place where the Church family gather to worship God, and have fellowship together :-)
  3. Good few varieties there Stevo :-) And a good whack of eggs. They will be ok :-) Atb
  4. Good article! Why don't they listen?
  5. Mate, Once had a power cut for 26hrs, 3 out of 6 hatched :-)
  6. No Devon, thought about having them just around the place, also golden pheasant :-) Might hatch some nxt yr under broody. Atb
  7. No mate, but I've been thinking of getting a few myself. Tried ebay for eggs? Atb
  8. Mo, I've had them in the past, tried all the tricks. A roll away nest box was good. But what worked best of all was culling. It's always one of the best bird's too. Atb
  9. Hi all, Just recived another batch of nets from Threelander who is on THL. These nets are braided nylon I used the first one's I got at the end of the season, both me and my pal. In fact I like them that much I have replaced all my old net's with these one's. They purse real well, and good and wide. I got some poke nets also, which I used on on old tumbled down walls, to cover multiple exits. They worked really well too. To add to this, I've also got a couple of fox nets made with the same material. Not tried them yet, but same as the purse nets, they are really well made. Give the fell
  10. There are a lot of items on the market. Most of them are pure marketing, bandwagon things ( not needed ). ACV, Garlic, Grass, Herbage, good dust bath, or provide one. Worming I definitely do. Looking, checking the bird's regular, see they have a good sheen on them, and not moping. If they don't have access to grass, get them some turfs. Shell and grit also if no access. Atb
  11. Yeh, I love Gamefowl :-) Good for you fella. Atb :-)
  12. Brilliant :-) Completely agree about sharing knowledge. Same here, learned from old books, and good men. The Beddy/Whip should be good. Off working lines? Get some ferrets, and off you go :-). I like the sound of what your doing, good luck with it. Atb
  13. Stevo! You must have a fair spread for your bird's. Are you a hatchery yourself? Do you keep any other breed, as well as layers? Atb
  14. That's a lot Stevo :-) Never kept layers, so no clue as to the best. My Mum had Cookoo Marans, which layed a dark brown egg. Scots Grey's are a rare breed, dual purpose I believe :-). Atb
