    Use the bryn dog bear in mind he will only pass on hhalf the genes so put to a racey bitch with lots of sighthound and the pups will be nowhere near tank like.

    Even good glosters without a crest should have eyebrows so to speak. Have a google about and find pics belonging to a man named Bob Wright he was one of the best breeders around when I last had anything to do with birds. But his pics should show good glosters of all types. All the best with them

    If I knew enough sensible people would take a pup on, then yes, but the last time I enquired when I was trying to persuade Ian (the original breeder/importer) we could only come up with 4 definites: and you know how 'definites' have a habit of disappearing when the time comes to take a pup. I would love to breed a litter of Airedales from her, but the last two litters of lurchers I bred didn't all end up (eventually) in the type of homes I'd have liked. I wouldn't be happy to hear of a pup passed on by its first birthday because the owners didn't have time/changed jobs/got divorced etc etc. I

    Very good mate I was out this morning with two and they show great potential I know so far the whole litter is doing well

    A good friend of mine bred his collie to his lakeland an believe it or not the pups are closer to airedales than any other breed in looks one is like a red smoother airedale you see in pics from abroad an the other is a blue merle an tan lol the whole litter seem to be impressing everybody that gets out with them. Wil you be breeding off yous skycat?

    Moral of the story? If you intend on breeding. Pay for it yourself. Don't sell pups to strangers in your home or in a car park an the chances of you being hit by dog thievs will lessen. If you can't afford to breed a litter without asking for payback on the back of pups then don't breed...... simples really...

    Iv lamped loads of big bags up dales an moors with a few diffrsnt types of dod from whippets to full collies an most types in between. Never really had a problem with stamina it helps if your dog is fit first. How much stamina does your average lurcher need? Flookin hell them dales dogs don't even need speed so why need so much stmna lollol

    Pure collies will never compete with a lurcher in all but the fewest of occassions. But they do deffo have there uses and do more than most think

    Because unlike the other pure breds. Only the colie can stand up to the scrutiny. I have collies and use them but I wouldn't want a pup off one of them. Well not a halfx lurcher anyways as id rather go to a well proven colliex line than the pure. But if I did want a halfx then a hunting collie used and proved on game is the only way id go
