  1. Mine ended up in the ferret cage after I advertised them free for collection, good luck bud.
  2. Good luck mate, don't forget to take a camera and post the results up if you land one.
  3. Sounds like if you don't know google is your best friend while you still have hands !
  4. Don't piss around with this guy, he is having your pants down, get straight onto the old bill, end of the day it's fraud, nowt less. I would also say well done to all those who have supported you, and the guy who turned detective and supplied a name for you. I wish it was that easy to find everyone, been taken for a ride once or twice myself, it's a bitter pill to swallow.
  5. Have a free bump, I also learned to weld with a very similar oil cooled welder as that, they are heavy, old and exceptionally reliable.
  6. I am not keen on these add ons, I pretty much want a dedicated nv as I have no intention it ever coming off the rifle.
  7. Thankyou for the reply, and quite some insight, its the first real bad review I have heard as yet. However, most seems based on the recording function, and that is something I am really not interested in, I just want to be able to shoot ! It is the second comment about the controls been in the wrong place though, seems I really need to get my hands on one and see how I find it. Thankyou to everyone who has taken the time to post, good or bad, all opinions count when spending the hard earned ! Rob.
  8. Thanks, the close up range would be between 15 and 30 yards, sounds like it would fit the bill.
  9. Sorry to dissapoint you boys, but I think I have had the best ever deal, better than any of those, I got a permission a few years ago on some paddocks owned by a livery yard, never got a penny, but after just over a week or so of showing my face, was invited in by the daughter for coffee, one thing and another, we ended up seeing each other, been together since then. I get dinners, coffee, tea, and plenty of the other as well !
  10. Thankyou for taking time to reply, a couple more questions if I may, what are they like at close quarters ? Distance sounds like it will reach to my requirements, but rabbits up close ? Also what is the dr bobs doubler ? Is there anywhere I can have a real test with one before buying, I don't mean fitted to a rifle, just a proper look
  11. So I presume I put you on the list of time wasters as you have not bothered to reply either on here or via the private messages I have sent you ? ?
  12. Exactly what I have done, I went through all the filters, they just got so shy no matter the colour. Last night, first time with nv, I was getting within 15yds and not even a blink from them lol.
  13. Hi, what's happening, did you get the pm's ? Have I got the bottle or do I keep looking ?
  14. I believe I am right in saying the 770 is a follow on from the 750,I don't suppose there will be much difference between the two.
  15. Does anyone on here use one, looking for honest reviews on what they are like.
  16. Sounds like ir reflected back at you,try adjusting the laser focus/power output....I take it it is the n1000ap? Hi, I don't think the power can be adjusted at all, it has an adjustable beam, spot to flood, but as far as I am aware that's it. Yes, It would make sense it's the ir been reflected, but without having it on then the vision is awfull. I have had a play with it today and mounted everything better, just got to wait for tonight and play with the focus etc, see if it improves. After last night I am a good mind to flog it and find a dedicated night vision scope and do away w
  17. £900quid.......... A 2hr batt life and 7hr to charge, that's not for me, I will continue to scan through the scope. Fair play to the op for sharing though, it does look like it done the job.
  18. For the first time ever I have ventured into the world of nv, I have always used a lamp and filters before. So..I bought my self a pulsar gsx1x20 and have a n1000 ir laser on it. I played about round the farm yard popping a few rats, all seemed well, managed to set it up, get a fairly good pic, could easily pick off the rats. Last night I decided to give it a proper run out on some paddocks for buggsy, it was hellish, struggled like mad to get any sort of focus, at a set distance, with nothing in the picture it was ok, but any fence posts nearby, bushes, trees etc, it went wild, br
  19. Excuse my ignorance, but I presume the spotter is some sort of night vision ?
  20. Thankyou for the replies, having had a look through xtx I have found a stock I particularly like, so I will be sending an email to find out a bit more, does anyone know if he makes them a custom fit as well, or just a standard fit ? A tailor made made stock to fit really makes a difference as I found out before.
  21. Well that was a waste of time, won't let me add the pictures ! Had 4 bunnies in quick succession, must have seen 40+ One thing I found out, how difficult it is too get a feel for range through night vision when you don't know the land !
  22. On a new permission I gained last week, only had half hour to spare but wanted to get a feel for the place.
  23. How old are they, colours ? Is that postcode in Buckingham ? I work around mk and Aylesbury and could be interested in the jills
