  1. I got one of these, and if its in the condition you describe it's a very good price indeed. Out of interest, how do you find the 177 in comparison the .22. I been thinking about another one but not sure on 177 yet. Thanks, and good luck with the sale.
  2. No massive flocks, but plenty of smaller ones, 50-100 bird, used to see 500 plus a few year ago
  3. I usually split mine, but I have successfully had twin litters together, are they first timers ?
  4. Now be fair, in their day they were ok for plinking tin cans .
  5. We always use chest freezers, dead easy to get hold of, and always free as peeps need them gone, quite often delivered as well, lick of green paint to make them blend in a bit, job done.
  6. Hi, I have an 04 that will be on the market in the very near future hopefully (just waiting for a large final payment from a job).
  7. Be very carefull the first few days, if she is a new mother and a bit jittery she could eat the kits, usually after the first litter they are fine, and it also depends how used to you handling her she is, mine I am able to be in the nest during birth and it don't faze them, but I have heard many kits been eaten. As for food, what are you feeding her now ? As has been said, provided she has a good diet then keep it the same, and I always keep mums to be separate, water is critical, it's really common sense more than anything, they are pretty hardy and are more than capable of getting on wi
  8. Nice one for the report, very interesting reading, I will be up again soon chasing them. Rob.
  9. I think someone is winding you up, I have a good few tins exactly the same in my cupboard ! However if I am wrong they are for sale lol........
  10. Me and my ferreting buddy have been saying the numbers are very low these last two years, small pockets about here and there but not widespread as they used to be. Give it a few more weeks and then they will start showing again, when the young move onto bordering land. Rob.
  11. I will try it on my laptop tonight, it brings no IMG code up when I try of the iPad. I followed the instructions exactly, but no IMG code.
  12. Use the IMG code not the direct link. Thanks for the help, but I couldn't find an IMG code !

  14. It's pretty obvious the answer already, but to put another nail in the coffin, it's drivel, as said just dry them properly and don't leave them wet. I have some of my grand ads nets still, he has been dead 30 year, god knows how old they were when I got them ! Prob 20 odd then ! Secret is good storage.
  15. Trying to upload a pic but keeps sayings its too big ! How do I fix this ?
  16. Yeah they seem good vans, this was bought as my berlingo went bang, but too be honest it's too small for my business,so I bought another transit tipper and the connect just don't get used now, shame to see the tax, mot and insurance dwindling away on my drive ! I have no doubt the engines in these are good for 200k if looked after.
  17. Well done, but as has been said, you will have more than two, that looks like a medium aged male(can't be certain from the pic) they are the ones that will be doing all the digging, but they will also be doing a lot of breeding. I have been popping rats in a garden for a friend, he thought he had one, I shot 7 the first evening, and had almost 20 over a coup,e of weeks, the night scope I got was an eye opener I can tell you, looking round his garden and seeing eyes almost everywhere ! Keep at them, horrible little blighters, good shooting. Rob.
  18. Ford transit connect, t220, swb, in blue, Diesel, 06 plate, side loading door Strong arm locks on rear door and side door, spare set of keys Mot'd until the end of january 2014, only done a few hundred miles since Taxed until end of november 47,692 genuine miles, may get another hundred miles on it in the next week or so. Service history Excellent condition inside and out, drives like a new van as you would expect for such low miles. It really is a cracking, good honest van, and i am only selling it as it sits on my drive not getting used since i bought another transit tipper
  19. I am really into boats, have enjoyed sea fishing for years but last weekend was my first Visit to Scotland so did not take the boat, really wish I had though. I did look at the hire boats, but they had very little equipment and were quite pricey, if I am up for a week or more it would pay to have my own as they do not hire when the is any wind, to be honest, they were not letting boats out last week, and compared to some of the sea fishing I do it was pretty calm. I would be interested in where you launch for Jura, no doubt if I am up then a few days at sea will be on the cards as well
  20. Nice little setup that mate, the classic brings back some memories as well, wish I still had mine You must do a bit of sea as well judging by the feathers.
  21. On another note, if I am up with my boat anytime and anyone wants a day or two out on the water then more than happy for some company. 17ft Wilson flyer ( cathedral hull) with cabin to get out the weather, 40 hp mariner, very safe reliable boat with 7 years sea fishing under the belt, fully kitted with GPS, sounder etc. Not for hire, but like minded fishing company only, provided you don't mind fishing with a novice
  22. Thank you for the replies, can't wait to get back and wet a line. I have graham water very close to me so will look into some casting lessons. Rob.
  23. Interesting reading, I just bought a pair of agile parcours vario 2, took a lot of soul searching to spend a hundred quid on Welles that are not neo lined (wanted a pair of le chameau) be interesting to see how they last and more importantly how warm they are.
