Well Ive got my veg patch cleared today and Im going to start digging it over tomorrow if the rain holds off a bit. I havent had a veg patch for about 15 years so any ppointers would be great and also what can i be planting now? I really want to get some spuds growing but is there any autumn varieties about or should I just wait until spring? Cheers guys

Cant stand the stupid things! not used one for about 7 years! I even disable windows own security as it just does my nut in. I download alot and never had a problem! I store everything on an external hard drive anyway so if i do have a problem i can just re-install windows and ive not lost anything! On my phone though I use DR.WEB and ive not had any issues as it doesn't constantly pop up saying are you sure you want to do this? Well i f***ing clicked it didn't i??

I was a bit worried as I live in a static on the edge of a pine forest with a few oaks about two metres behind me. worst i got was a few acorns bouncing off my roof! Slept like a baby!

Had a rifle given to me by shropshiredan which I am listing on here for free (collection only). Its a .177 and trust me it is bad condition, missing a barrel and rusty as feck! I can make out an engraving that says "ma? brit?" so I am assuming its british made maybe a very old BSA? As I said its poor condition to say the least but it is very old so someone might like to restore it? Only condition is I request a picture of it complete if anyone does manage to restore it

I personally dice shotgun meat and remove as much shot as possible before the dogs get it and if the guts are punctured I chuck it

I emailed north Wales today but not heard back from them yet. Thanks mate, I won't have the flue till next week. I've ordered it just waiting but I need an adaptor and cowl then its done

Im back Well I moved finally and ive been here about a week now, Ive still not finished unpacking and "decorating" yet but I have tried to get pictures from start to finish although i did keep forgetting as i fell behind on time but I will upload them when its all done. Obviously I now have the internet which I sorted today running at a whole 0.25mb/s :/. I have water, gas and electric connected up but my log burner should be here on friday hopefully so I wont be using the gas fire. I am just trying to find a metre of twin wall flue cheap! f**k thats expensive! The dogs are lovi

Thanks for all your ideas, I have built a concrete hearth and tiled clay tiles over it for the base. I also have a 4foot x 4foot sheet of stainless steel 2mm thick with a 2 inch air gap from the wall from the floor to the window so I hope this will be enough

Hi mate thanks for asking, I've partly moved some stuff but I'm not living there yet. I'm aiming to move mid October. I connected the water up yesterday and I'm going on Thursday to build the dog fence. The wall and floor is done ready for the log burner I just want to try and get everything finished before I move out as I have put new floors down and stuff and hit a few problem with burst pipes when I connected the water so its taking longer than I anticipated. My original move in date was yesterday but I quickly realised that wasn't going to be possible. Two to three weeks and I should be f

I was always allowed games consoles and my parents weren't too bothered about ratings either. However being caught with an air rifle and I was in major shit! My mum hated me fishing or going messing about in fields. I always got the new consoles for my birthday and then sold them about a week later to get some fishing stuff or by guns to replace the guns my mum had found and smashed up in the bin. When she whines just ignore her. Puppies can be like babies and if you go to check on her she will realise she just has to whine and she gets let out the crate so you'll make it worse. Mine are quite happy to be in crates. I never use them anymore but I still have one crate up and all three will go and sit in the same one together through choice
