Just had a strange experience ! I was trying to remember the name of "The Paedophile Hunter" off the telly.... The good lady tells me "Stinson Hunter", so I had a look at his web page. First thing I see is an advertisement to an online game, with the strap line "Run your own football club".....!!

Don't forget the election in Austria tomorrow, where the 'far right' are in a very strong position ! Hofer has promised a referendum on them leaving the EU, if he wins. Fingers crossed.........

Since June, I've never grasped why there is a debate about whether we should accept free movement, should we stay in the single market ? The customs union ? The economic area ? Should we recognise the European court Why is there any debate about accepting any of the membership conditions of an organisation that we don't want to belong to ? WE VOTED TO LEAVE !! The sooner we get our ar5e in gear and get on with it, the better.....and the sooner the treacherous doom-mongers will shut up ! (In the meantime, I'm hoping to bump into my Lib Dem councillor very soon !)

The Lib Dems now say that they will block the invokation of Article 50, unless it has a clause allowing a second referendum on the finished deal with the EU.... ....but, there is a fatal flaw in their masterplan. The rest of the EU don't want us to leave, so what's to stop them offering us the crappiest deal they can cobble together, safe in the knowledge that the British electorate would vote not to accept it - meaning we would remain within the EU, on our current terms ?

Agreed ! This whole fiasco was brought about by Goldsmith's own self-serving indulgence. Failed to be elected as London mayor, despite fighting a dirty campaign, so he thought he'd flex his political muscle.....sorry, I meant "show his political naivety" ! He never had a local, personal vote, committed to him being their own, cherished MP - he is a committed Brexiteer, his constituency was committed to "Remain". It was only going to end one way - what did he think was going to happen ? And now, all he has succeeded in doing is giving the Re-moaners another excuse to drag out their relu

This is far from the safe Tory seat that you might be led to believe ! Lib Dems held the seat from 1979 to 2010, with a majority of 3,000 to 5,000. Goldsmith initially won the seat in 2010, in a bit of a real upset, with a majority of less than 5,000. It only increased to the 23,000 mark in 2015, after the Lib Dems had ensured their own journey into the political wilderness, where they still find themselves, to this day. The good lady's mum has a little terrier, that's 12 or 13 years old now. He's been having some non-descript digestive problems, and has been going to the vet every two or three weeks. Now....to me, these are nothing serious, as he's had them for 3 years or so, he's still going strong and he's otherwise well. The vet sees things differently...he has regular blood tests etc (30 - 50 quid a time) and they sell her a case of 12 tins of 'special' food at 39 quid a pop ! Kerching ! It's supposed to be a low fat food, but i checked the label on the sly, and I wouldn't call 26% 'low fat' ! He's

The worst type are those trying to pass childhood food hang-ups off as 'food allergies' haha.... My daughter in law was at a birthday party with one of my grandchildren, last year. Some cakes or some such were passed around, and one of the young mums asked if there were nuts in them. She was, naturally, asked if her child was allergic - she replied "We don't know, but we don't want to take any chances...."
