    There's a huge storm surge predicted for Jaywick, on our local news. The town could be flooded, and parts of it washed away - causing several thousand pounds worth of improvements !

    Apparently, this was recorded by West Midlands police as a 'hate incident', because no crime had been committed. Which begs the question, "If no crime was committed, why are the police keeping any record of it ?"

    The news media is deluged with claim and counterclaim about Donald J, at the moment. If you remove rumour, innuendo, unsubstantiated allegations and unauthorised leaks, and stick to stories that can be verified with proveable facts, it seems to me that you're left with..... absolutely nothing ! Nothing except what looks more and more like an effort to discredit the President-elect, at any cost. An effort that smacks of increasing desperation, with each new lurid 'revelation' ! Of course none of us really know if any of these allegations are true.....But no-one seems to be offering

    My understanding is that the tradition dates back to at least the 16th century. They blacked their faces to avoid being identified. Spectators would give them money, but the authorities could accuse them of begging, which was a capital offence, at the time. that what i heard true, so the blacking of there faces is just part of tradition .     Is thunder snow made up by the same people that dreamed up a weather bomb ...sounds very much like it came from the same office ..when I was much younger 2-5cm ( 1or2inches ) was called a dusting of snow , now it's fcuking thunder snow ...I would say you couldn't make it up but someone obviously has ...Someone has left the keys to the asylum in the lock and one or to inmates have made good there escape to the weather centre ... Most likely nowadays as long as you can get the 49 different gender pronouns right and also believe in 'global warming' no one will care about qualifications It's not

    Snowfall in winter - shock, horror ! I used to work with a woman who came from northern Sweden. She found it hilarious that we have an inch of snow, and the country grinds to a halt. She was used to -30° and measuring snowfall in metres.....Everything carried on, everyone goes to work, the kids go to school, because the are prepared, and accept that, during the winter, it usually snows....
