    Grandad..

Thanks all! My grandad was amazing, if I'm half the grandad he was I'll do well. Not got an exact due date yet Gem, but I'm thinking start of October..

    Grandad..

Was told the other night that I'm going to become a grandad at the ripe old age of 38! Could have been worse, my eldest was born when I was 16, if she'd returned the favour I'd have been a grandad at 32! Lot of changes in my life at the minute, had some shit since I posted the thread about splitting with the wife way back in October but things are deffo on the upswing at the minute..
  5. His assistants were shocking too, I've never heard commentators slag the quality of the officials off like Jiffy and Brian Moore did tonight, it was absolutely shocking refereeing all round..
  6. Roof is open, technical issues. b*****ds better get our roof fixed sharpish..
  7. Best thread I've read for a good while, fair play! Seems almost poetic with the news about the old boy at the end. Not to take anything away from sadness of his passing, but giving him the opportunity to lord it over his neighbours for the last time at the grand old age of 97 is f**king awesome!
  8. Thats because they've released the Exodus add on I think mate, I had problems with Genesis until I added it. All vids now play. Not that I use it, could do with chromecast support.
  9. As has been said, this is Wales, home of the truly 'unique'..
  10. Yeah man, same as labouring for plasterers on site. I was feeding 4 at one point, big diesel mixer thumping away all day, barrow, bucket and dump! Was also laying it on myself once I'd got ahead with the muck. Good times.
  11. Common fault mate, its to do with the shite mobile phone coverage here in Wales, honestly..
  12. Your a scum bag, trouble is you probably have kids which means you've passed your low life way of living to them. Which in turn means you've breed a family full of scroungers.knock it off fellas, lets have one thread where it don't descend onto those political lines that get so neatly laid out for us to argue over! Been a good thread, on my phone so cant quote properly but it was interesting when the lads brought up the money vs enjoyment side of things. That's probably the reason I started this thread. Didn't know it at the time but I've been constantly asking myself that same question fo
  13. Yeah man, been there when I worked in the trade. When the weather picks up you'll be inside skimming like f**k!
  14. I'll start with mine.. Currently working as a private hire driver doing airport runs for crew from the ships of the oil and gas industry. My job consists of taking people from all around the world back and forth between their ships and the airports as they sign off and on between time at sea and time at home. 99.9% of them are from outside of these islands. Before anyone starts rolling their eyes and thinking "not another post about foreigners living here", they are just everyday working class people from everywhere around the world trying to get home or to work like the rest of us. Most can s

  17. ha! We put England out of their own world cup with two bloody scrum halves on the pitch, no excuse!
  18. But being halfway down the table after one match and not being able to beat an injury-ridden Ireland must be a real kick in the balls nonetheless. 2 best teams. Grand slam probably not likely for England or France, but at least it's still possible. Are you really that naive that you actually fell for that Ireland hit by injuries baloney? As I said earlier Ireland have great strength in depth. If I am honest Wales should have won that match. Priestland cost us the Irish try, by not touching down and kicking instead, two missed drop goals did not help either. But as you say, yo
  19. Its where you are at the end of the last match that counts! A loss for one of your biggest obstacles might have helped and all!
  20. Walshie, it is 9pm on international day, and you expect me to spot the difference? FFS I can hardly type yet alone think. TC He ain't been here quite long enough to know the craic yet Al, its Six Nations time in Wales.. 'Nuff said!
  21. Topic pinned for the duration! Looking forward to Sunday! We shouold do a meet for a game somewhere at some point, if these threads are anything to go by each year it would be a laugh..
  22. He was a decent presenter, just about the right amount of wit and character to entertain without overshadowing and taking over whatever it was he was presenting. Another public figure gone from most of our childhoods. RIP.
  23. You got no sisters Stealthy? All my sisters dolls had their heads shot off with my old mans HW35e when we were left in the house unsupervised! Well I say unsupervised, I was supposed to be old enough to know better, apparently!
