right the foxes i shoot on the permission i have are all causing problems, 32 lambs where taken the year before last and the farmer had a few lads out to try and control the problem but they where messers........... So he then heard i shot and contacted me through work, i took 62 foxes of this farm and there is still plenty left yet, let me paint you a picture here, this is all hill land very demanding livestock rearing with little profit, and no means of control by any other means only shooting, i believe this incident you recall to be in bad light of the sport, simply because you are ove

Well as ever the morning started out far to early......3:40 Am. Then the long drive to the stalking ground, We waited for the daylight to break and it was very frosty, there were not many deer showing, apart from an old rutting buck with a poor head so we let him be...No joy on the first patch of ground, So we started of to the second part of the permission. Seeing two does how in turn heard the crunches of us on the frosty grass. Then we saw a young sorel buck laying under a tree with nothing to bother him i ranged him at 226 yards the air was still and i gently squeezed of the round hitti

Hi, arcpest, there is not much difference in the shooting mats really, but i've seen one that has a clear cover laid out to the top right hand side where you can store your drop tables and windage cards, but for the life of me i can't rember the name of it........

the u caller is a very good caller with very good calls, the fox calls are particularly good....the only thing i don't like about it is the volume control, but its a good caller.....with native fox calls not the american versions of the call.........

Well in a 20 mph crosswind for the 100g doing roughly 2900fps your hold off should be roughly 12 to 13 inches which makes it a little bit harder...... practice and patience grasshopper...................

The fallow hate the cold and wet driving rain and will very rarely leave the comfort of the woods unless starving, best stalking for fallow is always after a few days heavy rain........they also hate the frost so very frosty mornings are always poor.......they don't like grazing on the frozen grass.......... good to hear you got one also...........

Ian your a star mate.......now i know you gotta very hard job mate, i'll be the first to admit it.......but for a few to cause such problems simply isn't on. come down hard on the troublemakers i say......this is a great site here with a wealth of info for anybody who needs it.....plus its a social scene also,many friends have been made on here........LIFELONG friends.........i haven't been on here really long compared to some but none the less feel like a part of something special.......SO don't back down put your chin up mate and be proud of what you've done and don't let the scum grind you
