Joe does'nt breed terriers anymore, just lurchers.I am probably the only one who actively breeds Coalville strain Plummers, but I may not breed next year.
I don't think its just Plummers, how many other terrier breeds and lurchers get passed on at 12-15 mths. There is always saplings up for sale.I've got Plummers and I've never had a problem work wise, that includes earth work.
The lad is a mate of mine as well, if you are offered it or have any knowledge pm me or nitevision. Its about time this robbing b******s were caught and given some natural justice.
Clancy the Fmwtc is the Fell and moorland working Terrier Club the greatest terrier club in the world,it was formed to rescue terriers that got trapped while out working. They have done some massive digs! The club is divided into areas around the UK
There needs someone to wrote an article for both edrd and cw to promote the nwtf to an wider audience. And not just terriermen! Show the hunting world we are still united.
I've met Barry Wade and you'll see him in the CA tent at the big shows, plus he does the terrierclub circuits. But he does at times look like a one man band.I think its about time he wrote some articles for the press ie EDRD and CW.To inform all and sundry. If terrierwork is'nt kept in the spotlight it'll be passed by (even if the ban is turned around).
I agree that EDRD is getting a bit bitter too.
First we must as someone quoted remember ,he was a hunt terrierman,so he had a professional job to do.With all the pressures that go with it.Secondly is it sporting to damn a man and his dogs when he can't defend himself.
A lot of male terriers can't stand puppies.I own one.In general a lot of male predators are iffy with there own young.I feel for your loss. "You get knocked down seven times ,you get up eight"
