A bloke in the village I delievery too,he's got two grainator bedlingtons, they've accidently been to ground a few times and both done the job.Reliable witnesses too. They both show signs that they've been to war.
I use Plummer terriers, and they are good.Sometimes I tke one of my lurchers if the buries are in the open.As with all things terrier and ferret-STOCK BREAK ,STOCK BREAK, STOCK BREAK.In the the past I had some good Borders too.
EDRD nos.145 has the john Williams article in a few pic's,also july 2001 has article by Brian harbutt about his old dog Spike,border/beddy.Hope that helps.
There was an article a few years back in EDRD about Rillington Beddys etc and there was quite a few pic's of Beddy x borders(various combos).Quite nice. The article was by (i think) a John Williams.I think Newcombe was experimenting with the x.
Trouble is countryfile is a BBC production,so it'll be dodgy just like there coverage of the Marches in London. The programme is for townies moving into the country, usually s**t.I saw the falconry bit, poor to say the least.
I had a ferret killed by a rabbit came out wobblying and keeled over. With a lot of bruising around its eye.I have had a couple of ferrets that take a kicking.
If you dog has been docked since the docking ban, you cannot every show it at a public show,as it is supposed to be a working dog.And the powers that be will be out in force to inforce it cookie. In fact the shows are'nt putting any puppy sections on.
A couple of foxes, little owls.At a old wood we bolted a family of stoats. The strangest was a jill ferret with a locator collar on that was'nt mind and have'nt got a clue where it had come from.So I kept her and collar.
Must be introduced young,if not you are buggered.Just don't leave it to young especially with pats as they want to kill things from a very early age compared to jacks or borders.Good luck
No one is picking on you,but you seem a bit inconsistant as on wbt forum you say you only take rabbits. So everyone treats newbee's with a bit of suspicion especially when some statements are a little off centre,so to speak. There is bound to be anti's trying to get on this forum.
I have stopped, hit babies and saw some myxy other day.Plus I need some more ferrets after a few got accidently killed this year and a couple died. The 2 jills I got left have worked there backsides off and my old long retired hob, carring his spare tyre came out of retirement needs a rest.
