    Necrophilia is not nice.
  2. How did The Hammers get on the other night? There, happy now? They ain't so little these days either. 60000 per home game? Might be ripe for big money investment? I can see crown Prince Sheikh _a_ Few _Bob being interested. Last I heard there's a lot of people in London and a lot of . You heard it here first.

Morrisey has said The Smiths have no plans to reform. Rejoice! Thank you Jesus. I had my ears assaulted by those whining wimps when my kids were growing up. Morrisey is on my list for a kick up the arse if our paths ever meet. I actually read his autobiography . I thought as a Salford lad from Irish parents he might say something which I could identify with. Nope, self pitying and twining just like his music.
  4. He's got strange stats Toney. He's 28 played for Northampron, Wigan, Scunthorpe,Barnsley, the toon and others.Didnt impress. Scored a lot of goals at Peterborough, transferred to Brentford where he has averaged near a goal every two games for the last two seasons. Wonder why it took him so long to click? The playing style of Brentford? If so, any future team he plays for is going to have play in a similar way for him to score goals??
  5. Young people think they invented sex. I beg to differ. How very shocking those scenes Meh We've got Pride marches. A black March which is what Notting Hill carnival is.... How about a white pensioners' March. I can see it now. Thousands of oldies on mobility scooters or propped up wppith sticks. We could get an old geezer to grind on a granny ( if CP wouldn't do it I would, but no kissing without falsers in) iworkwhippets could go round with a collecting tin and we could split the cash and f**k off to Benidorm for the winter. Sounds like a plan.

Both dead now unfortunately. Neither chased money. They just loved that style of music. Peter Green started Fleetwood Mac but he was quite happy to have the band named after the drummer. He had no ego. He just wanted to play.

My kids were teenagers in the 90s. I could hear The Stones Roses, Black Grape and The Smiths blasting from their bedrooms. On a rare occasion that I was actually allowed in one of their rooms, I spotted a photo of Salford Boys' Club on the cover of a CD featuring The Smiths. I happened to mention I was a member of that club in the fifties and sixties, and that, like all ex members, my name is painted on a wall of the club. What a transformation! For a brief period I was cool, hero dad and not boring old fecker dad. Even their mates looked upon me with new respect. Didn't last long, espec
  8. I'm not really serious about Lukaku. But we only have Hojlund in that position. Yes we have some helluva prospects coming through, including the hotshot kid we nicked from Arsenal. But an older, experienced prolific striker would give us a vital missing dimension in that department. Even if he only played half the games, or half the matches, I think such a player is needed. Hojlund is developing and he is all we have.
  9. He's all we can afford. Fat? Rooney was a fat b*****d, that's why Fergie played him every game, to keep his weight down. He's even fatter now. An obese Lukaku is just what we need. I would not like to mark him. I'd throw a sickie if I found out it was my job to nullify his threat. 96 goals in 42 games for United and a career average of a goal, every two games in elite competitions. A lot better stats than any other player we have.

What happened to those nicked car stereos? They seemed to be like a currency of their own. My brother in law bought a brand new car, went into a pub, asked his mates to come and check out his new car and in that space of time some fecker had smashed the drivers window and nicked the stereo. I never quite realised how much music means to people. It's a major, major part of people's lives. I guess it's a way to get off the stressful roundabout of modern lives. It's a f****r that so many of the chief entertainers fall prey to drugs. Like my favourite, Peter Green, plus Hendrix, Janice Jopl
  11. Dont think Toney has moved yet. I think he will go to Saudi. Papers are full of the exchange of Sancho for Sterling. Please no. Man U need a centre forward not another winger. Part of the reason Sancho is available is that he was made redundant by Garnacho who is a more reliable player. I'm still hoping that there's a plan to sign a goalscorer.
  12. I know what you mean. I don't pretend to understand the modern game and his style doesn't seem to fit. But f**k me he can score goals and makes goals. What's not to like?

I don't agree with a word but I enjoyed the read and the enthusiasm.

Everybody borrows musical styles imo. You could argue Michael Jackson was a tribute act to James Brown. And Brown lists many artists as his inspiration. Jackson wasn't even ghe first to display the moonwalk. I always think Clapton has earned an exceptional living from copying America's blues artists. American blues, now you're talking. I listen to it a lot but not when 'she who must be obeyed' is in earshot. She says It's miserable bollocks. Not true. My favourite from the 60s is Peter Green who played with John Mayall and Fleetwood Mac. The word genius is banded about too
  15. How about big Lukaku back at Utd? He is the quintessential swashbuckling centre forward who can release The likes of Amad, Rashford and Garnacho. Given last season's tally of goals which was embarrassing, it makes perfect sense to me. Give me a like for the word 'quintessential' if nothing else.Lol

I thought Scothunter was back too. LOL I was expecting Dido appearing in his Knight Templar robes, an appearance from KKK enthusiasts and the odd swastika. THL is becoming stale. What a bear pit it once was. You could put up a post and have a dozen counter arguments with a few minutes. We'll I could anyway. I think we've lost a lot of entertaining contributors and people have genuinely mellowed.
  17. You got that right. When I read the name 'Pogba' you brought up a recurring nightmare. Lazy, show pony with entitled attitude. Fergie had banished him once, yet Mournino , with the help of a favourite agent, brought him back to haunt us. I'm not sure that he hasn't undergone some plastic surgery and morphed himself into Antony.
  18. As I say, we have the Midas touch in reverse. Pay and award long contracts above the going rate and we wonder why players don't perform. I could rattle off literally a dozen players who were expensive disasters at Old Trafford but f****n Antony at circa million is off the scale even for us.
  19. Don't think,I've anything to add other than to repeat what I've just read: that America's support for Israel comes at great cost, both financially and in terms of support for America amongst the rest of the free world. I'm not sure the left ( whoever or whatever that is) hate jews. I think that has been an attack from the right which has been successful in discrediting certain leftist figures. The same goes for the supposed alliance between the left and mad Islamists. I think that's bollox too. Many leading right wing figures, including Churchill made antisemitic statements. Let's face
  20. I remember when Van Gaal sold Danny Wellbeck . Utd fans weren't pleased as he was local and an academy product. Van Gall replied 'look at the stats'. Exactly the same applies to Rashford. His stats aren't good enough. Personally I would sell him tomorrow. He's never going to develop into the real deal now.
  21. Leopards are one of my favourite cats. Punch well above their weight. Loners which are capable of destroying all sizes of dogs. Man is occasionally on the menu as well.
  22. Ryan Giggs is following me on THL, he's quoted as saying Wan Bissaka is the best one_on _ defender in the premiership, Utd have made a big mistake and your lot have got him for a song. The Midas touch in reverse. Buy for 50 million, sell for 15 whilst the player is still in his prime. I just can't understand why the Utd board don't just give me the manager's job. No justice in the world.
  23. If you don't mind, I'll pass on playing that. Can't stand the woman ( mysoginist, in her case guilty m'lord). And I resent you comparing me to Stalin. Mao yes. Stalin, amateur.
  24. As Manuel says " I know nothing". But your reply led me to google and it appears the US commitment to Israel is not based solely based on military presence. Apparently the US has poured 300 billion dollars into Israel's coffers since 1948 and some yanks, including Trump, are growing impatient with the drain on the countrys resources. Some are saying America's support for Israel is becoming counter productive and causing America more problems than it needs. Apparently they payroll other Arab countries to maintain normal political relations with Israel. Nothing is as it seems.
  25. One of my favourite tracks. I like the symbol of the opening of the windows and letting the light in.
