There's some horrible sounds-: a baby in pain,a hare crying its last, but a greyhound howling and shrieking in pain, biting you out of fear and confusion and with limbs sticking out at unnatural angles is one of the worst. Injuries are an inevitable side of the game we love, but we can guard against them by not running dogs which, statistically, will suffer more injuries (and more serious injuries to boot) because of their breed and constitution.
