Aye, retirement age should match the wear and tear on your body over the years. Somebody doing a desk job can work a lot longer than an outside worker. Guys on hard graft outside jobs should get their pension at 60 at the latest.

They deserve big money. Not many brickies over 60. A lot get arthritis in their hands and back---cos of repetitive movement over a lifetime. Mate of mine.. 50 odd has to spend an hour in hot tub in mornings just to get movement in his hands.

If you really want to make a quick buck, buy a French Bulldog bitch. Pups can fetch £2000 each and they can have large litters. My niece has just bought a dog pup even though I warned her about the health dangers these dogs have. Apparently it's the new 'must have' dog. All the celebs have them and their idiot fans want to ape them.

Energy companies and water should be nationalised. They don't compete with each other to keep prices down. They conspire with each other to keep prices high. Railways and old folks' homes should be nationalised too. It's immoral to make profits out of basic needs. Or is that too wildly left wing for some of you fellas?

Youtube picked this video out for me. I need to get out more. It's been a long winter. The ref killed me, a morris dancer with a hint of tourettes. 'f****n fight' 'f****n this' 'f****n that'. Nice looking bird holding DP's deer/grey. Don't tell me that's his woman? The fat guy knew he was overmatched within 30 seconds. There was only going to be one winner. Proper boxer and bloke won it. Nice summer sunshine -I'd forgotten all about that.

They are going down. That was a truly miserable performance yesterday. Is Moyes the man to bring them back up? I suspect the board will give him ten games in the championship and then decide. You've had good, proven managers in the past and sacked them. Steve Bruce and Martin O'Neil for a start. The problem must go very deep and need a long term solution.

) How does scruffing a dog help with recall chap? Surely the dog will just learn to think you're a wanker and not come near???? Ifthe pup does not come back when called, I get after it immediately and scruff it. The dog soon learns.ITs basic gun dog training,but it works for lurchers too.I use a long line too if needed.Thanks for the shock collar suggestion. I know a guy who has one.I will get him to demonstrate. I'm told you must know what you are doing with them.cheers.

Young fella asked my advice. His pup, 12 month old, saluki type, hunts up for ages when the lamp goes off and comes back knackered. How can he get it to return as soon as lamp goes off? I ruined my first lurcher over 40 years ago by not training it from a pup to return after the lamp goes off. Now I wouldn't take a pup lamping until I had ingrained recall into it. Generally not until the second season. I do it by whistle/reward when it returns and whistle/shake by the scruff when it doesn't obey. I can honestly say every lurcher I've had since my first one has had near perfect recall by that

There IS an organisation called Humane Society International, but the page mentioned doesn't exist, and a simple image search finds no results. The biggest give away to it being a prank is probably the date on the T-shirt...... In other words it's fake news. He did say something about killing vermin humanely, but only a sadist wouldn't kill something humanely. So no news, fake news, take your pick.

It's not good news for Britain to opt out of its international responsibilities. Some of these kids are unaccompanied and are as young as 6.They have already lived through bombs and bullets and some are sleeping rough. They are at risk of pimps and trafficking. FFS Britain is bigger than the likes of May and Boris who presumably, are at the back of these decisions to backtrack and not allow them access. There are plenty of couples looking to adopt--give the poor little buggers a chance of a better life I say. One day it might be your kids or grandkids in need of humanitarian help. Let em

I agree that it's been blown well out of proportion but if the fish WAS alive then he's definitely a wrong'un...causing suffering to anything..even a fish is shitty in my book You are right. The lad was out of order...cruelty is out of order. But feck me the prosecution was out of order too.

I used to be irrationally scared of rats,but one day I manned up and confronted the fear. I just pinned one by the neck and dispatched it when we were ferreting.It's always the best way...confront your fears and stop being a big girls blouse. I think fear of heights is more a physiological thing but insects etc..just feckin get over it!
