  1. 'Kama Sutra'... waste of time, discovered all those moves by myself. Correction myself and my Mrs. 'The Bible'. It was all about this geezer who got to be reincarnated, whose mum was a virgin and he had a little book where every human being's sins were noted. If you had too many sins you were condemned to everlasting flames when you died. But he loved you? and the book was holy. So I tried praying on it, but the person I was praying for died. So I gave up reading it. Very much overrated. 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.... had a sneaky look at the good bits in a bookshop. Bit weird if you as
  2. Socks, do you ever suffer post traumatic stress? If so, how do you deal with it?
  3. Long tailed tits, now you're talking, love the sight and sound of them working a hedgerow.
  4. How did robins develop that following behaviour? Many a time you get a robin following you on a walk. The strategy obviously works because I remember when we had those two really hard winters, the robins trained us to throw them seed on our walks. We had up to a dozen following us. You only need to bring a spade out of the shed to have an immediate friend in the shape of a robin or blackie.
  5. Would love to hear them both. Can I come and stay?
  6. I apologise unreservedly. He obviously meant a lot to you. Ps I didn't rate Cilla either. I didn't speak anything about the dead!
  7. Bit prickly today B B. I didn't think his place in musical or popular culture would resonate with the male demographic on here. Maybe I'm wrong.
  8. L887 what a man you are for insulting or winding someone up and then going into complete submissive mode.
  9. The mice throwing themselves onto traps when his mother in law visited.
  10. Look I've asked you politely sir.Do I have to call security?
  11. Pantheism: the belief that you can find God in the peace, beauty and wonder of nature. That's about as near as I get to religion.
  12. You get magic mushrooms there too then?
  13. Disturbed a Woodcock yesterday morning at dawn. At least my dogs did. Somebody will make a fortune if they can video a Woodcock carrying its young. That's if they do do that. Would love to see it. Was reading yesterday that there is a record of a Great Tit killing a Goldcrest and carrying it away in its feet. ( AA RSPB The Complete Book of British Birds) Really? I think the guy that recorded had been on the magic mushrooms.
  14. I'm glad they are thriving somewhere. Too much intensive agriculture where I am in SW Scotland.
  15. I can walk miles just for that..silence. Hate traffic noise even in the distance.
  16. Christ partridges! Haven't seen or heard a covey in years. Every field used to contain a family not that many moons ago.
  17. That's what made me think of Blackbird. They leave pretzels like that in my garden round about August to October. They are obviously feeding on blue berries of some description probably blackberries. If you stand in it you leave blue footprints on your paving.
  18. Disturbed cock pheasant. Croaking frogs in Spring. Lambs in Spring. Swans flying overhead. Grouse on the hill. Curlew..my favourite. Lapwing Skylark. Nest building rooks. Pink feet geese. Wood pigeon. Splash of a leaping salmon. Vixen at night. Any more?
  19. Ah, now I understand. A sawn off, nice one Mr End.
  20. Not goose in my opinion. The scats are lying next to an acorn shell. This gives us some idea of scale. Goose poo is four or five times thicker than those in the photo. I think its a bird which has been feeding on blackberries or similar. Bird belonging to Blackbird family?
  21. I don't understand. Can you explain?
