  1. most exciting things so far - A buzzard has attacked my pigeon on the flapper and managed to pull its head as it was obviously attached to the flapper and 2 magpies keep attacking my decoy magpie not going to shot them as its keeping me entertained.
  2. up at 5 well never went asleep got bored thought to myself its a good morning lets go.. have 6 fud crows out 2 flocked hooded crows a magpie and 3 fud pigeons and a flapper. its been abit slow with only 4 down but im way up north in ireland and decoying isnt wat it is in the south or in the main land will keeps yous posted....
  3. window wiper motor weld on two arms and a ground spike that's wat i did cost me £5 in total as i got a free old battery from a place i work.
  4. i mostly decoy crows and i have found 34g 4s are great for crows as alot of the time depending on the direction the crow comes in if i hit them with a 32g 6 (my favourite cartridge) it will only take a few feather out or hit them and they will glide 3 field's away and crash land. now with the 4s i set my decoys out a extra 10yards out as i find them hard to hit with the 4s at say 25 to 30yards compared to 6s. when i hit the with the 4s at 50 and 60 yards they drop faster than the local sl.uts knickers don't like seeing them glide away and then suffering
  5. was doing the same job last week grey backs/hooded crows picking at sleeping lambs. got up early with the .223 zerod to 200 yards parked car up on hill reclined driver seat [BANNED TEXT] back sat in back seat with legs stretched out over driver seat sand bag on door frame had a can of coke with bottom facing me at 200yards for a test shoot gave it 2/3" for wind bang on Sat for 3 hrs got 4/5 one got away but wasn't looking so good in the air. the satisfaction hitting them at that ranges is great, if only they sat still long enough i say i would have got 10 easy
  6. last year at a farm that had a crow problem i went to get cartridges 3 times. bought 100 32g 6s at 9.10am by 10.30 they were gone as they were coming close 30yards ish i just got 100 28g 7 1/2s 2hrs later back again for another 100 was the best day shooting i have ever had, actually think it recked the gun as the trigger started to not engage seers when's breaking barrels took it to shop and replaced it with the mighty baikel side by side bomb proof wee shoty
  7. if your considering using it at night forget about. as a day time target scope there the future...
  8. yea gave it a full clean out the way you would do a center fire rifle. put a gull tin of bis mags through it the a tin of h&n baracudas and it started to become more accurate on the 3rd tin. considering changing my full size hw100 26ftlb .22 fac to a 12ftlb hw100 177 carbine
  9. i gave my barrel a good clean as i have had it a few years now yes it was very dirty but after cleaning accuracy was away off averaging 2"+ groups at 30yards. so 500 pellets later it has started to become accurate again so is it pointless cleaning a pcp barrel ?

  14. some of my friends have got them off electric wheel chair website's they say there £50 cheaper
  15. because i make them out of 2.5mm stainless sheet and i probably make them better than most other could achieve. and some people would rather pay for better quality than making one the self. so do you want one then ? excuse the bad grammar (predictive text on my fone ) This is a fantastic price - i bought one from Austrailia (silvafox) and it cost me £40 !!! and people dislike me for selling them atall on here maybe i should put mine up to £20
  16. to late left her in car for 10 came back lampshade off head stitches gone but it has not opened and looks really clean so not a all out bad thing ish was urs bleeding all the time ?

  18. was it his own gun or his friends that fired the fatal bullet ?
  19. i have just got a ruger 77/22 bolt action lovely wee rifle BUT the trigger is like trying to pull my mum out of tk max, so im going to attempt a trigger job which involves a bit of filing and stoning reshaping the seers if i make a mess there are easy replacment parts but as a fitter and using such tools to a within a 0.001" im fairly confident it will work fingers crossed. has any one else tried a diy trigger job
  20. after a year of a continously bleeding and infections it was time to get the chop. i originally always favoured springers with tails dont know why just do personal preference. she would wag it at all times even when sitting down it just never stopped thus being she worn a hole in it ....
