    I know it sounds bad but i had the same problems putting two one year old hobs together that had never been kept with other ferrets before, they wanted to rip chunks out of each other, i tried leaving them to sort it out and it didnt, so i decided to put them together in the cage and wait just outside it, as soon as they both started id hit them and throw them back in, they started again so again i hit them and threw them back in, then after probabaly 5 times as soon as they started and saw my hand going to the cage latch they would both run to the nest box shitting themselves, only had to do

    When i first did it i felt guilty, same as alot of people probably did. As bad as it sounds you kind of forget about it the more you do it However even now i still dont feel good about killing something, its a biproduct of the sport, something thats got to happen, so i try not to think about, but in saying that i get disheartened if i come home from a hunt and havent had a kill.

    No different to the loudmouths posturing in't streets on a Friday night mate When dogs kick off 99% of people panic and make it worse I know what you mean mate, most of the time its just skin the dogs end up grabbing, but owners get in a flap and panic and only end up making it worse, luckily the owner put his dog on the lead while my dog still had hold and mine let go with little persuasion, he was bleeding a little on the back of his neck but he wasnt phased by it, if it had been the yorkshire terrier on the other hand it would have been a totally different story

    Same happened to me mate, walking my staff on the lead when a german shepard came bounding down and grabbed the back of my dogs neck, luckily his came off worst as mine grabbed its throat, long story short the german shepard ended up in a bad way and i ended up with the owner shouting at me for keeping such an aggressive dog What gets me is how a dog fight sounds, alot of the time fights sound x20 times worse than they actually are
