  1. Not sure yet mate, dont know whether to eat it myself or leave it for the hawk
  2. Just realised it was me what forgot the carrier and you that brought it lol, they are definitely worth having
  3. Top one is gorgeous, should be well proud of yourself with that one
  4. More of a slow walk than a run lol, still my best shot yet! Ive tried on lamped pheasant when they do eventually fly off, but they are fast as fook when they set off. Wont stop me trying though, ive just bought a new ttf tube shooter from phil on the ssf with a wide fork gap, so i will be able to get a nice big sight picture, maybe then i might be able to put a flying pheasant away. Ive done an ariel shot on a pigeon but it was blinded with the lamp and was more hovering than flying Was this at night? you naughty boy ! Yes but it was on my week holiday in a county where its allowe
  5. If your a member of the slingshot forum, get in touch with phil, ive got a catty of him what i asked him to make, was made and delivered in 3 days and is mint! Cheap too
  6. Looks good, always looking for new recipes to try, got 3 rabbits in the freezer i can try this out on

  8. I can try but i doubt it will ever happen again lol, I dont do much with the nets more with the bird which makes any shot an unsafe one when hes up in the tree, providing theres no chances of richottes and were using the nets then i probably would.
  9. I know you was bud ha I get bored too easy so wouldn't even try shooting a card lol. If i didnt get a hit within a few shots id get the arse on and give up
  10. Like i was saying to bpr, if someone else put it on i would be skeptical because ive tried it myself and its bloody difficult, and even impossible i thought ha, but this thread made me try today, and luck was on my side as the first bolt produced a hopper. Plus i had a witness from a member on here. I was smiling from ear to ear. And my mate who was with us couldnt believe it either when he saw me pull the shot off. Very much doubt i will pull a shot off like that again, i just found it strange how you put this thread up just yesterday, then i thought it impossible to do unless a miracle happe
  11. Haha to be honest mate if anyone else put it up i would be skeptical aswell, ive tried it before and writ it off as impossible. But hawkingyorkshire will vouch for the shot. I havent stopped talking about it. Your game carrier came in handy today aswell, take a look in the ferreting reports. We had to put two rabbits on one strand and even 3 on two of them lol hawkingyorkshire forgot the one i gave him ha
  12. Shot this today with 12mm steel whilst ferreting, it tries to hole hop, but the ball bearing stopped it in its tracks, hawkingyorkshire was a witness to the shot aswell
  13. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/309017-brilliant-day-out/?do=findComment&comment=3470543 Taken while ferreting, tried to hole hop and i headshoted it with the catty! With hakingyorkshire as a witness
  14. Well went out ferreting with the nets with hawkingyorkshire off here and two other mates Ended up with 22 rabbits 21 to the nets and digging, and 1 shot with the catty as it hoped out of its hole, hawkingyorkshire will vouch for the shot, it just popped out and i shot it in the head with 12mm steel ball bearing, lights out. It was a great day, easy 1-2 foot digs and the great company made it better Few pics for you First set The ones we got out of the first set Second set Third set Fourth set And the best rabbit of the day and also the firs
  15. Just thought I'd bump up this thread, nearly pissed myself reading it yesterday and just re-read it again today and nearly done the same, Don't want anyone missing out lol
  16. An 11mm lead ball to anywhere other than the vitals just isnt gonna drop the rabbit, so i wouldn't even attempt to shoot them on the run, and i do quite a bit of catty shooting and hunting. However if they are hole hoping and your confident in the shot then why not? But just taking potshots is just plain irresponsibility
  17. Not being funny mate but the amount of rabbits that will be injured as a result of using an air rifle will be massive, abit irresponsible if you ask me, especially shooting on the run A catties not much better, but at least your using alot heavier ammo and even a bad shot can still bring it down
  18. A mate told me of a dvd with some irish blokes doing it, said they missed loads but they shot one on the run with it. Tried it myself and its bloody hard, no time to think about the shot at all, all luck and no skill
  19. had no idea why BPR`s member title was disable bay poacher and what all the jokes were about as it happened before i joined, so just done a quick search and read the thread, dont think ive laughed this hard in months lol, ya fanny lol
