    Think im going to go for the hunter senior catapult. Looks comfortable. But to be honest mate i dont think id go for one as a starter catapult, the forks are pretty narrow and fork hits that could occur early on will mess the fork up pretty bad.     Doubt they are pitbulls, just the media saying they were, as per usuall, they know nothing about the dogs in the attack so they reel the gullable folk in by saying they are suspected to be pit bulls. If they are pitbulls then the bloke wants the book throwing at him, im the first to defend pitbull type breeds, but not the morons that keep them when they shouldnt

    Cheers mate, Unfortunately its away in the freezer for the hawk when he starts moulting in march can you be sure the pheasant hasnt been pricked at all? as i often find old lead shot in some that i get? im just thinking of your hawk mate as i believe lead is very dangerous for them. I will check once i actually feed it to the hawk mate, always do with any feathered game. Never had a problem to date with it though.

    Haha will do, dont think the supply will ever run out lol, theres hundreds of them, there all attracted by the abudance of berrys still on the land i think, both birds crops have been full of them

    Ive been struggling lately, the pheasant was a quick half hour walk out then back in. I just couldnt have the catty sat there and not have killed anything with it, was doing my head in lol

    Sorry to hear that, If it was me i would take the rest of the season off, maybe take up some other fieldsport to pass the time, through the summer make new ferret hutches, aviary a lick of paint, buy new equipment and start a fresh with a new bird. At least then you have a clear focus of what you want to achieve for the season, a few months off might be what is needed to rekindle the flame so to speak

    Maybe with about 30 birds lol, cant see many harrises attempting to catch a deer that size anyway Golden eagle though, will catch deer easily sometimes but alot of times they get dragged about, but as long as they hold on to them long enough for the falconer to get there then your away
