  3. dont make a difference whether they eat rabbit or not in my opinion. when i do give my ferrets it i end up finding all the meat in the nestbox totally untouched. the first time i worked mine he was reluctant but when he finally bolted his first i ragged the rabbit around for him and let him have a good chomp. but he wont eat it only rag it until he knows its dead then he leaves it. usefull for your mooching and dont want to be digging
  4. no reason why they wouldnt its in a ferrets instinct to work and seen as though they are so young i can't see why they wouldnt work. just dont give up if they refuse to go down the first few outings. good luck

  6. i once stupidly put surgical spirit on my ferret to remove some ticks at a recommendation of a james mckay book. long story short ferret licked it off and surgical spirit is pure alcohol. made him dizzy and off balance and the day after he was nursing a hangover, vomiting and slept all day, only got up to throw up, piss, and take a dump

  9. my local carp lake is targeted by polish all the time. not just the odd 3lb but big carp exceeding 20lb with the biggest believed to be around 25lb. pisses me right off to see skeletons all over the place but the owner can do fuk all unless he sees them doing it but if they pay there fares what can he do? however i once did a 24hr session and the bloke on the next peg along was polish and he had all the appropriate carp care gear and was a genuine nice bloke. worked at next, payed his way in life so to me he had every right to be there just a shame he gets branded a thief for the sake of the m

  16. the fields are well away from public access so we will try square it with the farmer to leave them, what if he says no should we just take them out way and bury them. theres a wood near me where i have permission to fly the hawk. should i take them there and stuff them somewhere out of the way? thanks
  17. went out with my shooting partner shooting foxes at farmers request, first time ive ever been fox shooting. we were using a nite site shooting 1 fox on the first night and 2 on the second. just wondering whats the best way to dispose of foxes? there only small fields so i doubt the farmer would appreciate 3 foxes left in the field hedge, ive gained permission through him so dont want to do anything that could jeoperdise that. we ended up putting them in my friends bin. we didnt want to bury them incase the farmer didnt want us to. thanks for reading

  24. ive been looking through some posts on other forums with lads having the same problems of numerous fork strikes on the same fork and a suggestion was to turn the pouch 90° to the forks. supposedly it's nigh on impossible to have fork strikes. so i think im gonna use this method until i get better at shooting then go to a normal pouch hold. see how i get on
