  5. I believe they cut them up and pack them out in the remote areas.The mega bucks gang use helicopters.I've been to Nova Scotia but was a little disappointed at the quality of heads on the Whitetail deer.Some Moose there but Newfoundland is the mecca for Moose on the Eastern seaboard of Canada.

  11. If they are made in china any body buying one i would advise to go the next size up from their normal size. Yes I believe hearing that advice somewhere also!
  12. Well their listed as N.Z. and as I say my mate swears by his Monsoon smock.They have a new Monsoon 11 out now with more pockets etc.Some good deals if you look on Ebay!
  13. Ridgeline is made in New Zealand and my mate has the Monsoon smock ,which he uses for shooting fox to hounds and its stood up to all weathers on the Welsh and Borders hills and mountains.

  15. One thing I failed to mention about the .22-250 is that in my experience it produced far less bruising of the carcass than the .243.Why the BDS didn't support it being legal for Roe in England and Wales escapes me?I used a 55 SP bullet and my Ruger rifle just loved the Federal Classic ammo.

  18. Yes I remember Peter was featured in the Channel 4 documentary "Cutting Edge" about the Invercauld Estate in the nineties.It was very interesting, in fact I still have it on VHS! He is a true Highland character!
