What are your views on jews? I know this wasn't directed at me,but I've had a change of opinion on them. A nation is a group who share a culture,language and ethnicity. It's not a place,or some obscure set of values that get parroted by MP's,'tolerance,fair play,democracy' etc or any other set of values,no matter how much you like the sound of them. For better or worse a person is born British and can never be of any other nation,nor can anyone become British.

What do you want folk to do about it? I wouldn't risk my freedom, my job or my family for an event that didn't directly affect me even if I would deport the lot today given half the chance. They are allowed to carry out these acts because the government allows it despite their entire knowledge of the situation. Exactly ! Yeah but it'll probably always be a twate off lead,if she turns her back and he sees a chance for freedom. Then you'll struggle to tire him out (because he stays on lead 99% of the time) and he gets more pent up energy and has an even stronger desire to run away. I wonder what led to him wandering the streets ? Some dogs don't listen or have any desire to please their owner and are much harder to train than others ,if the dogs never listened for his entire life and really enjoys having the freedom to run away you'll have your work cut out for you.

Just read the other thread,you've done right by her and by the sound of things she had a great life and her suffering wasn't drawn out at the end,so a good life and (as far as is possible) a clean dignified end. Knowing that won't help I'm sure,but at least you know in 10 years you'll have no regrets and smile when you think of her.
