I know a guy who tore his ACL again 4months after the op because he went for a run,I'm definitely not risking it until I'm ready. The lurcher doesn't like toys much. Probably just be a very late season for me.

Had the op 5 weeks ago mate. But the dogs are used to biking and running in summer and getting at least one good run a day all winter,be it just mooching about of a day,lamping,running with me or biking. I was thinking about getting a slatmill,but the dogs a fanny and I don't want to pay out for one if I can't get him to use it.

How do you do it? I usually just run and bike,but tore my ACL so that's out for now. Just putting in a lot of walks and a bit of retrieving the tennis ball,not much else I can do atm.

Ive had a few dogs stolen in the past,my own fault for living to close to Bradford?.my detterent now is an Akita,the 3rd we have had here in the last 20 years,i have never had a dog stolen for 20 years,if they get past the Akita they can have all and sundry with pleasure,they will have earnt it,Rottys are lazy fat fecks that enjoy their kip,Akitas,proper uns,earn their snap.The only problem ive encountered was recent,the lurcher bitch and the Akita had a set to,the lurcher came a poor third and will miss the start of the season as she recovers,i split them up after 10 seconds,any numpty that w

Some dogs won't take food off strangers,a mate of mine had a big nasty Rottweiler looking after his shop of a night in a rough area. The c**ts either made some noise to get him out or waited for him to go for a piss and shot him. The next night the break ins started again.

I've never seen a good one,though my old staff had a brilliant nose,he'd run off silently for miles on a line. Caught a few but no good for a quick mooch with the lurcher.

I'm debating whether or not go back to Muay Thai,I boxed for years when I was younger and the worst injury I got was a broken nose. Done Muay Thai for just over a year,over 3 fights broke my ribs 6 times,my nose about 5 times,chipped my shin and tore my ACL though that was sparring. I wouldn't mind trying unlicensed boxing.
