Can't remember where I've seen it but I've seen footage of Galgos in some shitty conditions. Do they reckon they kill them in a crap way because the dog disgraced them by not being good or something? Why they can't just do it humanely is beyond me.

I tried to treat mine with some waterproofing stuff but it's still not great but like you say cheap enough to not worry about brambles.

Pizza night tonight, knocked the dough up after work this morning. This beast is mine with pepperoni, ham,chicken tikka, hot dog, bacon, pepper, mushrooms red onion and sweetcorn all washed down with cruzcampo followed by pints of jd and coke

Strongest survive and breed so they'll be getting bigger like selective domestic breeding has got us things like ragdolls. They won't be getting leopard size though.

If you could find a good way of joining them together I would imagine the fish would grow faster with more space.

It's nowt fancy but does the job The water butt to the left is full of filter media and I have a little fountain pump going into it from the pond and overflows back into the pond.

They probably could, I think I've seen videos on YouTube of people growing trout in an ibc hydroponics system along with tilapia.

I prefer them bigger too but we were out of suet so the boss grabbed a pack of dumpling mix and I had to stretch it out for the family. A full dumpling top is the best one.

Mine started as a water butt for the shed but had mozzy larvae in so put a couple of goldfish in it to sort them out and from there progressed to the ibc with a home made filter. The fish are happy enough and they get fresh water from the gutters every time it rains.

Mine is only a converted ibc tank so not worth the expense of heating.

Mine had nearly emptied itself yesterday morning with the filter outlet frozen up so it overflowed instead. Fish sat in about 5 inch of water at the bottom and a frozen hose so couldn't top it up.

Dusted off the slow cooker so lamb stew with dumplings and yorkshires today.

After about 10 years here it's starting to look like there's a couple of rabbits in a few places so I'll be leaving them few alone to hopefully breed in spring. There's less stoats around so if disease and nv wankers leave them be too we might be able to get back out again like we used to.
