  1. Try a red eyed red dimorphic canary with a pea throat goldie and then cross all your fingers and toes
  2. A fawn gloster if I remember correctly. I bred goldie and linnet mules with a dash of white on from a plain yellow irish fancy hen.
  3. That's a normal that I bred. Variegated mules can be anything from a dark with a white marking or white with a few dark markings like some of the crackers that bunnys breeds.
  4. I tried a barrel and it got full of condensation, I put a ply floor in it and drilled a load of drainage holes in the bottom but it still got all the bedding damp. Would cladding it in some type of insulation work? This thing of mine would wreck the insulation though.
  5. Normal and possibly blues. Variegated can come from any colour it's luck of the draw.
  6. When I was a kid in the garden at home with a factory as a backstop I had a marble bounce off the wall and nearly hit the woman next door but one in her garden. Something soft which stuff won't bounce off is a better backstop.
  7. You need a mk1, mk3 or mk3m box mate. The mk3 and mk3m are the same things though.
  8. 2 i think but you don't let it proper dry before you go over it, wear a mask too.
  9. I know, it doesn't say on the tin either but I have a ply pigeon shed outside that I painted with it that's as good as new.
  10. Know anyone who has been prescribed them and not finished the course?
  11. Tiercel - is flow coat definitely what you mean? Have you done this successfully yourself? I ask because I'm just about to make a new hutch and remember reading this post a while back and planned to do the same - sterling board ('cos cheaper than marine ply) covered with flow coat. This afternoon I rang a supplier to get the flow coat and they said that it's supposed to be used on fibreglass and that although in theory you can apply it to timber, within a couple of months it will just start peeling off. So is it possible the stuff you're referring to isn't flow coat but something else? Or
  12. These tomatoes are finally getting ripe now, bloody good they are too
  13. Can you smell it in your pits too?
  14. He did used to come on here but the site was playing up for a while so he jibbed it off as far as I know. Glad you enjoyed the book, I might grab the new one for a look.
  15. I would have to leave the baby alive in that situation, If he hadn't lived someone even worse could have filled his role in history.
  16. You need to download the photo bucket app and upload them to that and put the img code on here mate, good luck.
  17. If you're walking the pup out and about in the country they enter themselves to work in no time at all sniffing around and putting stuff up and learning about holes and obstacles. The choice of ferreting or lamping is up to the owner, I've gone the lamping route with mine because he's old enough but the ground isn't suitable for ferreting yet.
  18. I think I must be one of the only ferreters that's never bolted a fox or found a ferret.

    Horse Meat

Just watch it doesn't give you the trots mate or you'll be galloping to the bog and it won't be in you furlong.
  20. A shellduck in a purse net was a bit of a surprise, so was getting 8 rabbits in a stop end the first time we did some new permission too.
  21. He must be on here to have been able to pinch your photo?
  22. That lad on facebook still using your picture of him saying it's his stolen dog?
  23. It's odd that like you say Ray he hasn't got a bark in him, this collie cross of mine can be a proper funny fecker with strangers and I'd of thought an ally cross would be worse.
