    Not my idea of a well educated working dog. . . It would have to be the best dog I had ever owned and I would never breed from that sort of characteristic. . . Its shame when you have a world beater,but its still got traits you would not want in future breeding. Hes probably a more capable worker than anything you have. He is a line dred desert dog from our own lines he is bred to kill stuff and his line are to put meat on the table daily in COO not weekend sport. If you knew anything about saluki packs you would know what traits the Alpha males and females retain and generations of Alphas

    I used the live catch traps because they were floating around the in one of my sheds Ive caught some big male rats some pregnant females that had the baby's in the trap and some young ones I have baited them with bread dog food and bacon I will get some pics up tomorrow thanks for the advice

    Didn't see anything mate but the little dogs flushed something out the woods the black dog run it and come back on 3 legs again smotherd in mud I think he fell over so it's put him back abit

    Thought he might have some beddy because of the little tassels on the bottom of his ears.He's got a little top knot as well when ya get close

    As some of you know I have got a rat problem here not loads of numbers but seeing one two or three a night I have been setting some live catch traps and had some success but then nothing so last night I watched one of the traps and saw two rats one wouldn't go near it and one sniffed it and run away fast not very good at traps so any tips would be useful thanks

    I think a greyhounds feet are tight when people say a greyhounds feet aren't any good I think they mean they get knocked up easily not that they are flat
