Isn't the copper supposed to mess around with the rifling? or is this just me reading c*** again?

I heard that breaking am apple to got the scent out was good, I got a few when I was helping out a chicken farm doing this, the rat would come and try and drag the apple, thus giving u a nice clean headshot.

Unfortunately I think this is a simple case of FO's not knowing their stuff, wanting little all but the public to be gun shy and anti social... This is the type of behaviour I have over here, upsetting really.

Brilliant mate thank you, it's was a very skinny bird, breastbone was quite weak.....the first time I have felt one when carving the Brest and my knife feeling like it would go into it Thanks for the picture. I'm starting to look at all the different berries etc etc that I can consume, and also the ones rids are most likely to go for.

Paulus they are some great pictures I will post some up of what there's berries look like I have a food for free book I carry round with me so I will see if they are in there Not sure what elderberries look like the picture in my book isn't that great. It was about 1 in the afternoon with the pigeon had an empty crop, didn't think they digested that quickly from the morning feed?

Cheers guys, much appreciated, doesn't seem to be many berries on my permission looks like most of them have been eaten...I did put out 4 decoys yesturday and Jesus did I have some fun, pigeons coming in everywhere, with the thick branches and leaves I only managed to get 1 with the air rifle...straight through the neck....opened the crop up and it was empty....first time I have ever seen this, looks like food is precious at the moment. Could help me out with some decoying, going to try Wednesday........I saw sme red berried down the bottom of my woodland but didnt now what they were, not rose

Air rifle is no different to shotguns I have found both in rabbits before, we all miss from time to time, just one of those things
-
Hahaha yes skot I meant a hop haha

No kruby, any information would be quite informative. Skot if u ever find urself in jersey, look me up, I will show you the reds in their natural habitat, I'm lucky enough to have a warren in my woodland where they are all around me, the most I have seen are this year, I counted 7 in my permission the other day, all after the chestnuts.... The knowledge of greys has helped me track them down and I have found an oak tree with a load of squirrel holes in it,I will post a picture sometime. They are tiny compared to greys, and their simple beauty and tranquility is the complete opposite to the gr

An addition to my comment is, a hope from a rabbit means a probably re appearing 10-15 minutes later (if u wait and limit noise and vibration A scurry, u will be lucky to see them again that day

Right mate, First off, don't expect to shoot to much the first month or so, unless the place is over ridden, the best bet for the first few times is just walking around with the rifle, you'll start to pick up signs etc etc, the main point I'm trying to get out is go out looking for signs etc etc not the actual quarry, woody roosts rabbit warrens etc etc. you will start to pick it up quick enough. Main thing to cut short is ask the permission owners, don't shy away from this, they have obviously lived there most of their life and they will know the spots, just by doing this I now get w

It's amazing when I read this the difference a grey is to the red (not at all along the lines of shooting them) I mean as in the anatomy, the red I have over here is so much smaller, alot more weary, and actually I wouldn't class it as a pest even if it was, they are alot more docile, stick to the woodlands more than anything, and a pleasure to watch while I'm out hunting.... Beautiful as well.

Got it down loads, mega impressed and exactly the right size I was after, brilliant, enough for me to have my gear in and to carry some rounds for the 12g in too. Lots of pockets, the zips need taking off and some para cord attached to stop the jingling but other than that quality! I picked mine up for 12 off another ebay seller.
