  1. Don't rule out the s200 especially for hunting, I can't live without mine, especially if you have a lot of land to walk over, and there's always, a lot of people neglect what a rifle weighs after you start adding attachments
  2. Problem ism love the s200 to much haha! How much of the shot count are we talking about?
  3. Hi guys, I have owned an s200 for a little less than a year now and I have returned home to my place of birth in jersey in the Channel Islands, over here you need an FAC for an air rifle, so I was wondering, I use my s200 for hunting and instead of me going down the expensive route of getting a rim fire or such and such is there anyway to make my s200 more powerful?! Without altering the shot count or accuracy, I love my s200 and was just wondering if there is any other way, Kind regards Craig
  4. Any second hand books people don't want anymore, mainly focusing on decoying for wood pigeon etc and rabbit hunting, all with airgun Cheers Craig

  10. Hope your still here mate I have been on holiday, you will be quite stretched to get everything for 300 mark but it may be possible if you really are serious let me know and I'll help u find some stuff, depending on your size of clothing I also have some military clothing I could send you if you paid the postage as I'm in the armed forces and leaving.....and on holiday I located a decathlon and sorted myself out head to toe for 50 euros ! all I would say on the rifle side is research and buy once and be happy

  14. Wondering if anyone knows anyone who shoots in jersey, we seem to be few and far between! I'm moving over there the end of this year
  15. Hi mate, welcome first of all. To be honest it's totally down to what your hoping to get out of this, if you went down the air rifle route you don't need a licence at all, however shotgun/rim fire you would...next question is money what's your budget etc etc...I hunt purely off the land to eat myself, rabbit, pigeon etc etc and I do great with an air rifle and a bit of cam, let us now your thoughts and I'm sure people will get back to you.
  16. I got a .177 preferred the idea of the flatter trajectory, I love mine so far just getting used to it! Yes there's plenty of land but the laws are different as you need a fac for any air rifle whether it's below 12ftlb or not, but so far as I know it's about the same!
  17. Cheers guys, posted a link on the pigeon topic if anyone knows much about decoying etc etc would be great!,
  18. Hi guys, I have shot a few woodies in my time but on an old permission I have now lost, my old permission was great as there was literally a 10 by 10 meter square patch of coniferous trees which all the woody's came into and it was easy pickings, however now my gun club I am with is located on an empty airfield, both north and south go into sort of woodland which gets quite thick with large oak trees etc etc, the thing is the place is so big there seems to be pigeon everywhere however the pigeon seems to be one place sometime then the next a different place and I really don't kow where to sta
  19. Hi guys, second hunting/shooting forum I have been on, I used to hang around on the chineseairgunforum as I had an smk 19 but have finally upgraded my springer to an air arms s200, I'm currently in Yeovil in Somerset as I'm in the armed forces. I'm at a local gun club however I have recently put in my notice to leave the marines and I am due to return to jersey in the channel islands later this year with my wife and child. Don't know if there is much of a hunting scene over there but I guess this is what I will use to always keep in touch with my veteran side of life!, just thought I'd say hi.
  20. Just what the title says guys if anyone has one Cheers in advance Craig
