Unfortubatly I have had to put the rifle away for the past six months, I was successful in January in getting a job as an airport fireman and I have been away up in Edinburgh training, with that and moving house twice in 3 months (don't ask) I have rarely been out, when I have it's been with the 12g to help the farmer with his pheasants . My life for the past 6 months wouldn't even match an eastenders series but it's slowly back on track Anyway after moving for the second time last week I

  10. Hello guys Happy new year to all the HL members, I haven't been on this in a while, with starting my new Job and currently in the process of moving house I have had other priorities. It's start of the jersey royal season again and I have struck what most people would find as gold, I went for a meeting the other day with one of the main distributors for jersey royals on the island with great great success. He's given me 60 acres of fresh unshot land to help keep the pests at bay, with a very big view of building up a portfolio of land owned by them all over the island(approximately 10,000 v

  14. Will do, the extractor works it's just the ejector that doesn't, just don't wanna try anything that's dangerous, don't fancy something blowing up in my face!
  15. Lol dot want to try that then haha I'll just see if I can fix the old one
  16. I also tried to contact this guy but he hasn't got back to me at all, is it dangerous to just use it without the ejector in it? I'm pretty sure the extractor will work if I just keep that in
  17. I have tried but then again mate £40 for the ejector, I'm half tempted just to give up on it to be honest
  18. Yes mate a aya mod astr ciclope single barrel 12g was made in 1958, I contacted aya over stock and they don't have ANY parts for it anymore
  19. Yer that's not the problem, the problem is the ejector is bent mate, and I can't bend it back, the extractor still works tho, just wondering if I could just leave the extractor in and keep the ejector out(I was hoping to use it tomorrow )
  20. I have taken the retaining pin out mate and pulled the whole extractor out, was just wondering if I could use it like that or if it's best to try and get one fitted
  21. Hi guys, the ejector broke on my old single barrel shotgun today and it's restricting me opening the action(break barrel) it was made in 1958 so there is little chance of me finding another so I was wondering if I can just remove the ejector and finger pull the rounds, is this a dangerous idea or is it a safe thing to do?

Been out the passed couple of days, Unfortunatly mixie has hit my permission pretty bad, all the rabbits I have seen have had it, managed to put one out of its misery today, I was walking around and almost stumbled over it, didnt even have to watch about beng quiet, no pictures I'm affraid as they are pretty diseased. Cut the belly open and left it for the crows. Looks like winters having an effect. Good news tho, my permission is starting to plough for the jersey royals, and I might be on some new permission at the start of the new year, keeping it hush hush because I don't want to get my
