  2. hi guys, just intrigued really what times of the day do you normally decoy a field and how long are you there for....if nothing is around do you still set up and go for it (those with smaller permission), how long do you give it till you give up?? do you shoot all morning till afternoon or just decoy for an hour?? cheers craig
  3. cheers Timmy!, and nice to see your still on, another question then, what mag do most people shoot at? the mamba isn't 2 plane is it? which means you need your aim points at different mags? coypu I have never really got on with chair-gun as I have never really been able to set up my scope height etc and there seems to many variables to put in which go wring, simply shooting and walking back the distances has a more hands on feel. Basically im too lazy
  4. Good shooting mate, hopeful to get out this week too
  5. P.s thanks for the info on lamping mac and mark cheers mate I will take a look now
  6. The only problem Flynn is I don't shoot enough to keep and it's not worth it, plus freezer space
  7. hi guys my fields I shoot on are about 200m away from a really good flight line and its complete hit or miss whenever I shoot if I decoy any, most of jersey is spuds, in the off season its grass and mustard. from time to time I see pigeons and then set up and none come back, i'm wondering what the best cause is, I only have static decoys at the moment and i'm planning on and in the process off making a pigeon magnet, was wondering what else i should give a go? i have about 12 decoys, half bodied, full and 6 fuds, also have 4 lofting cradles. main times of year are after the
  8. I have herd this 27 yards a lot and I must admit I used to, jimmy its not FAC at the moment but will be in due course, but its something to work off, I might be naïve but im going off if its FAC at 30 yards then hopefully it just means less hold over and no hold under.... 27 yards it is for the time being, on another note how have a lot of you got on with the SCB reticule? my first impression are very good with clear aim points. cheers for the reply Craig
  9. Was wondering if any of you guys have a .177 and a mamba and was wondering what you guys zero your rifles at, and why?
  10. Mole, I have done mate, I'm off to the local clay ground in the coming weeks to do a saftey and gun test and then I can pretty much draw the rifle/gun whenever I want, good thing is I start at 5 in the morning on my earlies and the first plane isn't in till 7 so I have a good hours driving around the perimeter and shooting,
  11. I'm a .177 man with my faithful 200 .177, problem I find is I shoot a lot of pheasants and with headshots I get a hell of a lot of flyers, in that sense I mean pheasants flying not realising they have been shot and then falling out the sky...which is bad if your on a short boundry, this is the reason why I have now opted at looking at getting the power tuned up, and going with the heavier exact pellets, but with the trajectory of the .177 (I hold my fac with my s200 before you start worrying) I have used both calibers, and they are both devastating, I don't think its down to which i
  12. Seen a few times, but a video that still holds a lot of valuable information? I would have liked to see him shoot through the back of the head of a rabbit, I have never had a problem with .177 before but I know a few people choose not to because they have had a pellet glance off before
  13. Will do , it's Darin who I am getting the reg off of

  17. Nice shooting mate, good to see you around, those ex forces roll mats are worth their weight in gold!
  18. They have been sprayed black now and have been run through the dirt but I have been using them to good effect the last two times I have been out, not much shooting at the moment otherwise as all the fields are covered in plastic over here!, Mac I see your competition is still going on haha
  19. I just bloody beeping missed the posty!!! Can you believe it haha I was out and interlink express turned up haha!, yes mate cheers, good to be back! Really enjoying the job and started to get back into it again, the farmers I shoot for are mega keen too which is good news! Learning to weld too as I'm restoring a classic mini and if anyone has those FUD decoys I converted them into lofters using a bit if practice welding and they look really good
  20. Hello guys, Long time no speak to a lot of you, my life has been hectic this past year and a bit, with the new job etc and I just haven't had the chance to get out, my shooting took a big dive last year with only recording something like 5(15 quarry most of those pheasants for the farmer) outings on the BASCigamebook which I tend to use. My laptop broke too and I can't access this on my phone really to write as it takes ages and my work computer doesn't accept facebook log in, Moxy has had a battle on his hands trying to transfer me and has managed to do it now! So what's new? Well I'm
