  1. Oh well at least they didn't greef you about the red and white dog because you know it was possible, after all they are sometimes clueless. Nice to see your dogs are trained well, it probably did you a world of good and well done for that

  4. Working Whippet, maybe with a touch of Collie.
  5. If you have an Orange phone you can text "film" to 241 and you can get two film tickets for the cinema and two pizzas from Pizza Express. Much nicer then ropey old Pizzahut. Oh, this is only on Wednesdays. Calisme82 if you don't have one, I could give you one
  6. How old, where are you and dog size?
  7. Pulling is good it strengthening and harding muscles. My dogs know the difference between walking on the pavement/road and out in the field working, so should yours. It only takes a sharp tug on the lead and/or a command. So, yes let it pull. yc.
  8. now that sounds like a good dog the same man that owned this dog ,turns all his dogs out to a similar standard ,because he tried something different years ago ,starting them young .and he is still doing it ,if he had wrote a book or bragged about what he has done and achived ,he would make all your so called LURCHER EXPERTS past and present look like amateurs . He don't need to brag about it he has got you!
  9. Don't get one just because you like the look of the pups, ALL pups look nice thats because they are pups and pups are cute. As for the one who said it would be a good cross, a good cross for what and why don't you get one, get a grip Gripper. Are they free? i HAVE got a german sheperd x greyhound and i DO think it will be an exellent cross and its always good to experiment, how can you judge a dog which you havn't witnessed, salukis are like greyhounds, bit slower, more stamina, and as ive already said GSD crosses have amazing power endurance and stamina, they have the brains and obid
  10. I would go for a Malinous X and a racy type Mali aswell, much better on there feet than a bounding, rubber backed GSD.

  14. Don't bother, get something decent, you will have it a long time.
  15. Needs to be 5 degrees or lower to not have to worry about it. If there is no flies about I am happy to leave food in with mine.
  16. Road walking. People use surgical spirit on their feet to harden them up should work on dogs but not with sore feet. Should get a dog with good feet like a Suluki .
  17. A little splash of man fat helps to keep he's skin soft.
  18. I just cut up a Fallow "Bucks" neck for the dogs, it weighed over 18lb , wouldn't like a butt of of that brute. edited to say nice pics Chalky

Wild brownies, well you can ask what you want. Farmed browns start at around £3.50/lb so I would say wild ones around £5/lb and above. Try to get in touch with a posh restaurant that does fish they will take your arm of if they know what they are talking about. p.s don't take them all

    Trout prices

Trout (rainbow) cost around £2-£2.50/lb maybe £3 but thats tops for smallish fish, farmed that is. Why have you got some stolen ones you need to get rid of ?
