Pulling is good it strengthening and harding muscles. My dogs know the difference between walking on the pavement/road and out in the field working, so should yours. It only takes a sharp tug on the lead and/or a command. So, yes let it pull. yc.

now that sounds like a good dog the same man that owned this dog ,turns all his dogs out to a similar standard ,because he tried something different years ago ,starting them young .and he is still doing it ,if he had wrote a book or bragged about what he has done and achived ,he would make all your so called LURCHER EXPERTS past and present look like amateurs . I would go for a Malinous X and a racy type Mali aswell, much better on there feet than a bounding, rubber backed GSD. -

Needs to be 5 degrees or lower to not have to worry about it. If there is no flies about I am happy to leave food in with mine.

Road walking. People use surgical spirit on their feet to harden them up should work on dogs but not with sore feet. Should get a dog with good feet like a Suluki .

I just cut up a Fallow "Bucks" neck for the dogs, it weighed over 18lb , wouldn't like a butt of of that brute. edited to say nice pics Chalky

Wild brownies, well you can ask what you want. Farmed browns start at around £3.50/lb so I would say wild ones around £5/lb and above. Try to get in touch with a posh restaurant that does fish they will take your arm of if they know what they are talking about. p.s don't take them all

Trout (rainbow) cost around £2-£2.50/lb maybe £3 but thats tops for smallish fish, farmed that is. Why have you got some stolen ones you need to get rid of ?

could be a grass seed, they are hard to get rid off, or it could be a tumor of some type.

Sorry telboy I thought it said Rainham, I know Grays a bit aswell. I do most hunting but not all as I don't have any terriers now, just running dogs, guns, ferrets and fishing. And a bit of trapping from time to time.

You can put the Moon phases up on your Google home page, tells you when it coming, where it's at and when it's on its way out, job done. I often walk around the local orchards when full Moon, keeps my dogs sharp, although a bit dodgy but they have always gone there for years.
