  1. You'd be better off with an English Pointer as the German wire haired Pointer has a lolloping gait, an English Pointer is a lot sharper on its feet and lighter in frame
  2. Is some body after you or is that good old Scottish food getting to ya?
  3. Yep! and at 7 months you need to get a move on or it will be like that for a loooooong time
  4. Alpaca's and pigs pay all my bills, including vehicles. I would hardly call them pointless. Ive eaten a couple too, and there mighty tasty meat. They breed easy, and are hardy, with little call for vets or expensive feeds Alpaca's, how many have you got and how much did you earn out of them last season (truthfully).
  5. No just every now and again, less in the winter.
  6. Stinging nettles are poking their heads through now because it has been so mild and this is when they are most spiteful.
  7. I'm going out, will I get email notification ?
  8. Will they be better dogs if the new owner throws the papers away Yep!
  9. Summer will soon be here, hope ya likes wasps maybe you'll get a job picking them of with your air rifle
  10. you will have to do the backhander move Cheers! I'll tell her about it, she can pretend I'm someone else
  11. Insulated? Pictures or make please.
  12. Why what is the problem with rough paws? Are they troubling the dog ? I have rough paws, my misses loves them on her back but not on her fu fu.
  13. What is this with leaving food down all the time? You's lot must have some fat ferrets, especially with that dried muck. I do occasionally feed the odd hand full of dried food, but to leave it down all the time, well, that's not good surely? Ferrets are carnivorous and feed large meals when they are available or caught. Fasting ferrets is just like dogs, a must, unless you work them every day.
  14. Don't feed them after midnight .
  15. Electric fence, it's ok getting a wack from one, but with no shoes on(as a dog would) it's a totally different story. I bet you would fecking run, try it, or better still get someone else to try it
  16. Ferreting permission is the easiest to get. People have problems with rabbits and your asking to get rid of them, just remember that. Be polite, well presented and find some where that really has a rabbit problem. I gained permission to do a large paddock area with lots of grazing and hay fields this morning. All I did was say "good morning" to the man letting his dogs have a poop and then mentioned his rabbit problem. He was over the moon that I offered. I also think my well behaved dogs contributed to my good manner. As said first impressions count good luck.
  17. Nothing wrong with looking, or so I keep telling the misses. That tune is a bad tune that has been turned into a really shite tune , second tune is sort of palatable. No really I love watching wild life, it's not all about the chase.
  18. Just one problem with that, worms other wise it's a good idea. And it won't really hurt to do it every now and again.
  19. As Cookie says, the reason why some forms of hunting is is banned because it can cause unnecessary suffering. It has nothing to do with people "humanising animals" although I think a good few think like that. For instance hunting with dogs is some times the only way it can be done and you've got to admit there are much more efficient methods of controlling things, it's just some times things like shooting or poison are just not an option.
  20. It would have to be, no fecker would go otherwise
  21. 4 hours 21mins, over 250 miles what a shame. Cheers anyway .
  22. Doubt it , what with this bunch of poofs!
