If you like it go for it but there's always the sprocker or terrier x Spaniel route may save you a Bob or 2. Cockers are lovely dogs but a lot of what makes them what they are is the fact that they are quite needy and always looking at you ,but they certainly want to please . A mates used to sit there staring at you and if you made the mistake of stroking it ,it wouldn't leave you alone lol lovely dog but as treehands said they need instructions,but live to work

£650 Is a lot of money just for bushing ,when most terriers,spaniels ,beagles and their crosses will do the same job .

the Oz lads grab there back legs, once the dogs get old of it, from the pics it dont look that bad. Don't ask me why but I've never been a collie fan probably because of them barking their hearts out everytime I'm somewhere I shouldn't be lol.and getting nipped on the way through farm yards. And a few poor lurchers I've witnessed . But 1 collie x Springer out marked the lads Springer's by a long way and way rock steady at ratting . And was a real character.
