Fitter Type English Bull Terrier
BS40liam replied to gull terrier's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
The trouble is the show types arnt exactly fat the thing I was getting at is your after a specific breed bred for a job yet you want one to take running With mo mention that your going to even work it. So just to save you all the trouble in all your searching why don't you get a dog from a pet home and use that for a jogging partner. I can't see a dog that's bred for work being any better for running a couple if miles a day or what ever than your basic pet -

A mate of mine dug an incubator out of the shed for me to try and hatch some eggs, it was only used once buy his dad but he don't know anything about them. So what temp does the incubator need to be set at? And how long does it take for the chicks to hatch? It's a 10 egg automatic incubator so I know I don't have to turn them. Cheers for any advise

Isn't it just! At the moment I don't mind paying more because since giving my lurcher minced chicken carcass she won't touch biscuit, and I've ran out of meat they had the last of the venison ribs last night, my lurcher is being very picky I put down a whole bowl of dry kibble and she wouldn't entertain it, I then soaked it up with some gravy and still she just turned her nose up at it! I had to boil some rice along with frozen veggies just so the dog would eat something today hence why I need to source meat quickly and cheap!

I went to a few more butchers today one did a dog food mix which was £1 per 1 kg block and ox hearts for £2 per lb! the next butchers said they can get a box of chicken carcasses which works out approx 11 kg for £12 I swear there all robing cnuts! @ the one where do you source yours?

May have to have a look at his site, I spoke to a mate of mine the other day and said he was chatting to him at a game fair not to long back and now my mate thinks the sun shines out of his ass because he was shown a couple of his knocked up terriers. Maybe I should recommend him to have a look at this site to see what everyone else thinks of him ?

Just read this thread from start to finish and it's brilliant! Some of you have some real nice plots, I've applied for my alotment a few months back but due to my neighbour being best friends with the woman who runs the parish council I find her having a plot before me even tho I applied well before her.....? Anyhow as the allotments are next door to my house and the water supply is utter pish for the plots I have provided the old boy I'm the plot right next door to my house with the use of my hose in the exchange that he cuts my grass once a week and he also hangs a carrier bag full of veg on

If you want a jogging dog probs best to go to a different site, this site is trying to promote "working" breeds not trying to have a dig but it's the hunting life not the jogging life atb ? -

I've just been to my local butchers to get some meat for the dogs, anyway I asked him about chicken carcasses, necks and wings also hearts offal and bones and he said he can get what ever I want and mince it all up for 55 pence per 1lb of meat. I told him I would pop back down tomorrow. But is this a good price or could I get it cheaper elsewhere?
