  9. Just been on a local walk with the dog and surprisingly there's a few rabbits about! The little bitch dint catch any as they wer to quick to bolt while she was still in the hedge and couldn't get out fast enough and she also had a good little run on a rabbit but it was a bit quick for her lol but still an enjoyable hour and a half

  11. Sorry to hear about that bud, not to many people gonna want to be parting with their dogs with the season up and coming, if your offered one working make sure you get a trial so you ain't wasting your money atb good luck
  12. My bitch is very slight and only at 18/19tts I don't think she would have any chance of pulling deer although I have seen a few 1st x beddy whippets that's much bigger and stronger which I could imagine would be capable of pulling small deer and handling teeth ( if it was legal ) but if you are interested in that sort of thing then a beddy grey would be ideal I expect.....
  13. @ Cumbye I didn't even receive a tail that's why you had no thankyou! Hence why In the post I started I said I sent my address but received no tail.....
  14. I have a beddy whippet and tbh now she's older I sometime think I should have got a beddy greyhound, with the beddy whippet she's only 18/19tts so I'm only restricted to what her uses can be. Hope that helps atb

  19. hi mate my terrier is just 19 months old is she just right age have only used her ratting so far only starting myself will be going out with mate of said he will show me the best he can I'd let your dog watch a few times 1st, peg it by the hole so it can hear and smell everything that's going on maybe drop your dog in at the end of the dig to see if it don't mind the teeth see how you gets on atb
  20. my little pup she's now 18 weeks old and a bit bigger now than in the piks but she has wheelers trixie, Sally 1, Sally 2 and snapper on one side of her ?
  21. 6 months for a terrier is a good age IMO for starting on rats or usually wait untill there adult teeth have come through although if your pup is younger and keen there's nothing stopping you trying it on a small rat if you can find one. As to using your pup for earthwork I would say 18 months + but have known people to try there dogs younger and been successful. Atb
