  2. there hasn't been anything around Dundry for the last two years unless your after different things, everybody hunts Felton common its ridiculous, wrington is a definate no go any more it's absolutely red hot and chew magna is ok if your out at about 2 am and even then your lucky to get 3 runs. Never been down cheddar lamping must give it a go ?

  4. I've got lurcher 13 months and terrier 6 months in the house atm terriers crates at night and the lurcher just sleeps wherever she drops. Got another terrier pup coming in 5 weeks time so that's how long I have to build these kennels then both terriers will be out side
  5. could have had a silent season. Its common with a bitches first.that where it confuses me because a couple of weeks back she seemed to show signs that's she was coming in but nothing come of it

  9. I have rabbiting with ferret, dog, hawk and gun by Sean frain. The working jack Russell terrier by Eddie chapman and digging the dirt vol 2 by johnny bluck. I have read all 3 and probs won't read again so if anyone has another book/s on terrier work then I would happily swap, cheers
  10. If the beddy bull grey possess a trait that your bitch hasn't got that you would like in the pups then go for it, if not go for something else
  11. The bitch is 13 months old now and haven't come into her 1st heat yet. Just wondered if lurchers normally take longer to come in? My last lurcher a whip grey came I'm at bang on 12 months and most my mates I've spoke to there lurchers have come In around the 12 month mark. I just want to make sure so I have the mop bucket and cleaner ready ?

Lovely looking bitch Liam how tall is she?cheers bud she's 19 inches or so tts, she's had one rabbit on The lamp so far and a couple by luck while out ferreting mooching ect, over the last couple of days a place by me that's never had a rabbit on In The last 7 years all of a sudden is riddle with the things and something has twigged with this little dog and she's starting Hedging as good as any terrier and still gets out fast enough to be up and at um In the open field. Really pleased with how she's going, can't wait for September hopefully the rabbit population picks up around here so that I

  15. My 1st lurcher, (not including my dads dog when growing up ) was a whip x grey but now I have a Bedlington whippet who I'm bringing on and at 13 months she's started to really surprise me this is her now . Good luck with what ever you choose bud

  17. ive got the permission behind the airport for ferreting but there's feck all round there anymore, and the only other place with a healthy rabbit population would be wrington.... Would suggest to anyone going there tho that they be fit because if alvis boys sees the lamp they'll be around your ass quicker than you could slip your dog ? and them boys ain't friendly lol

  21. In fairness mate, that's no different to any dog, I don't know why anyone would leave dogs and kids together unsupervised. Any dog can snap bud i know that any dogs can snap, both my dogs lurcher and terrier are both inside and are fine with my 3 year old daughter, would I leave her unsupervised with the dogs? No, I trust my two dogs completely but still wouldn't leave her alone with them or another dog for that matter, my daughter knows she can play around with the dogs but as soon as the dogs start to get a bit to ruff then she knows them to leave them alone.

  23. Nothing wrong with a beddi whip, train it no different to any other lurcher and you'll be fine.
