  1. From what I've seen personally you get more of a success rate from the black dogs but even then there ain't no garentee you just got to hope it's bred from worker to worker to produce worker
  2. Some dogs can be fine in the house others can be a liability, if you've got kids in the house then is it worth taking the risk, it only takes a second for a terrier to snap then it's game over
  3. Don't think it has anything to do with the rat, the other whippets being sick aswell now so must be a bug
  4. I have phoned the emergency vet, I told them she keeps beig sick but she's now drinking plenty water and they said if it carries on throughout today then To bring her in 1st thing in the morning, the woman said it sounds to be a stomach bug so with a bit of luck she will be ok

  7. Looking for some advice, before I phone the vets, but basically Friday night one of the dogs killed a rat in the garden ( I wasn't home but my misses assumed it was the terrier pup ) anyway since last night one of the whippets was being sick and not eating so I thought I'd just keep an eye on her and now she's still being sick it's a yellowy fluid but this morning g it's been a red/ orange colour I'm thinking now it may have been the whippet that's killed the rat, if it was her could this be because the rat has possibly eaten poison? And now it's affecting the dog? Any suggestions welcome othe
  8. Mines fed at 6/7ish after morning walk then at 6 pm after evening walk but dry biscuit and bowl of water left down to snack on through out the day, I need to change the routine now tho as I find my lurcher is just picking at her meals and I go d one day she looks and feels well but the next she's like a bag of bones! Very odd lol

    Bantams

I'm on the look out for some small bantams in Bristol but the one at Cadbury and blagdon water garden are stupid prices, does anyone know where I can buy cheap bantams from in Bristol? Preferabl point of lay but will consider chicks. Cheers
  11. Lovely looking pup mate, atb with it
  12. te only difference being this pup won't be a rabbit dog bud Therefore looks shouldnt enter into the equation. Find the best pup you can from digging dogs regardless of looks, a black pup is a black pup.i know looks shouldn't come into it but in the same breath if someone likes the looks of a specific type then why can't they have something like that obviously the most important factor is that they're from working stock but if a specific type can be sourced then why not?
