  6. Pianoman So maybe i should have said yes you can make longer shots with it.. if you can make the shot I agree with your very wise words though Simon accuracy is the key ATB Adam
  7. Good job, Keep up the good work ATB Adam
  8. I will check the dates at work and get back to you ATB Adam
  9. Well the extra power changes the curve of the pellet trajectory so although yes you can make longer shots with it, I think that the 'sub 12 ranges' become flatter trajectories (I might be wrong, Si is the expert on these things) so the FAC 22 shoots more like a 177 I see what your saying Gaz My views on it are if you could have an FAC rapid with the extra power or a normal rapid which would you choose? Id always go for the FAC even if I didn't take the long range shots, just nice to know i could if i wanted too Like having a fast car, why have one if the limit in town is 30? ju
  10. I watch all his Vids and they are very good. The squizzer doesn't get more than a foot from the first pellet strike to the last, its not as if its run off into the woods and left to die, its dispatched within seconds. Full credit to him for showing the footage, you cant criticize him for that minor mistake. As for the whole 30ft lb rifle and its potential, why take shots at longer ranges if you can get in closer and lower the risk of missing? further the range the more exact the calculations need to be, the greater the chance of missing or worse injuring. Just because your rifle ca
  11. The whole long range statement was part of what I wrote on my Application/Cover letter as justification for having a HMR and a 22LR - which the FAO was happy with It doesn't say it on my licence ATB Adam
  12. Wow reading up on this whole thing about vermin/foxs/HMR is hurting my head There seems to be no legal legislation which includes fox as vermin and there also seems to be nothing to say you cant shoot them with .17hmr or 22LR Just seems like it all boils down to what it says on your licence Anyone else have any difinitive information on this? ATB Adam
  13. Did I miss something, did you say fox IS Vermin or IS NOT Vermin? My first statement was incorrect, Fox is NOT classed as vermin - I was confused by what the FAO had said to me but after doing some checking Fox is not classed as Vermin in the UK and it is in a class of its ownATBAdam
  14. No it is not classed as 'vermin' in the same sense rabbits and rats etc are, I think Fox is in its own class ATB Adam
  15. Cheers Bob, Ill be ordering some mixed HFT ATB Adam
  16. Ive got the iphone app one, its great as long as you can input the correct data. get the data right and its brilliant ATB Adam
  17. Are you talking about zoom or parallax? The big wheels usually on the side (which you see on many competition scopes) are normally for parallax. You can get a zoom levers from Rowan engineering, but I'm not sure if it will make it easier for you to turn, I would imagine it does with the extra leverage http://rowanengineering.com/products4.htm#zoomlevers ATB Adam
  18. Bob, Please can you PM me the price and payment details for a mixed box of all 3 sizes in .177 - Im interested in trying them in my Springer and PCP ATB Adam
  19. Looks decent, good luck on it ATB Adam
  20. How often are you using it? after every pellet???? Mines still going strong after a year and I've still got plenty of patches..maybe I'm not cleaning enough ATB Adam
  21. Hey, I have the Air Ranger in .177 Mine has the mechanical trigger stuff not all the electronics package (im fairly sure all Air rangers are like that its the Wolfs that have electronics) Trigger is good- 2 stage and mine is very light Accuracy is better than I shoot Good shot count from the 400cc bottle I shoot mine from 190bar to 100bar wthout losing the accuracy, either side of that I find I get less of a performance, easily 100 shots in that range. It does me alright and the only downside of them i can see is the price - expensive ATB Adam
  22. Yes it is frustrating to use and there is alot of sh!t3 on there, but every once in a while you can find a gem. Its just a tool and if used properly it can give good results ATB Adam
  23. Great shooting mate! Cant wait for the vid! ATB Adam
